Little Tokyo Teppanyaki Grill

Hardly the worst Bento box I have ever had in my life.
Not even the worst Bento, the worst meal I ever tried, I ended up throwing everything to the garbage can. Really not only the taste was bad, the food presentation are less than desirable. Never in my life ... NEVER

It’s a fanfare of Japanese and Chinese mixed together. While the prices would be decent for the various foods and combinations you could order, their food is horrible. The fried rice is just rice with some green peas and soy sauce on top. Chow mein noodles is just noodles cooked in sauce. The teriyaki beef is not grilled. It is par boiled, and then grilled a little bit to give it that look and a little bit of a grill flavor. The bento box came with onion rings, Chris cut fries, deep fried zucchini and deep fried sweet potatoes and one egg roll. They are not authentically made. Everything is from frozen foods. I’ve never had any Japanese restaurant serve a side of corn, as in whole kernel corn. There was also salad and the lettuce is completely wilted. The teriyaki sauce is watered down and it’s bottled, not homemade. The sushi, there was four pieces and it was blah. I don’t see how all these people that raided them with rave reviews on their food thinks that this is acceptable. Believe me when I say it is awful , I will never eat here again. Ever. I’m half Japanese in Hawaiian. I know what this food is supposed to taste like and this is a far cry from it.

They offer similar Asian American dishes compared to Panda Express 🐼 in addition to Teriyaki chicken, rice bowls, Sushi and Tempura. Theirs added a bit sweetness to the food in my opinion but offer more selection.

This place is not authentic and the food is nasty, it’s all sweet and all fried. Very upsetting!!! I been to many restaurants and places & this place is a no go! The soup is bland as well. Sorry for this bad reviews but I have to look out for the people.

Wow, what a treat! While checking out the food court on a slow day the lady from Little Tokyo pulled me in for some samples before pointing out the combo's. The Pineapple chicken is absolutely delicious! The cheapest combo comes with so much. Already ate the sesame mochi before the photo. Going to come back for a pork bun and skewer next time.

The food was amazing, they gave us a sample of the pineapple chicken and my boyfriend fell in love with it. We got 2 of the 10.99 bento boxes and they were so good. Half of it filled us up and the taste of everything is to die for. Now we have amazing left overs!

This has easily been the worst Ramen we ever had. Instant chicken soup with instant noodles, bored cabbage, broccoli that had lost all its own taste and deep fried chicken on top of it.
If you like Ramen, please avoid.

So just observing the servers at this place. I was going to order her but after watching an associate there constantly fix her hair under her hat and then touch the food to hand out samples. They don't wear gloves nor have I seen them sanitize their hands in-between touching product or containers. I decided against it.

Reminder to self. Don’t eat here. Greasy and fatty chicken in Teriyaki Bowl, repeated order 5 times, still wrong. My son’s Bento Box was ok.

Oddly enough the lowest quality Japanese food I've ever had, but I'm not complaining too much. Just saying that low quality + Japanese don't go together!

Got the largest bento for 11.99+ tax. Of note the noodles were meh. Japanese fried chicken was meh and luke warm.

Worst was the california rolls with dry artificial crab

Best was unexpectedly bourbon chicken that had a nice smokiness to it.

Wooof. Food has got to be extremely bad for me to leave a bad review. In our two meals we got fried rice, chow mein, spicy chow mein, teriyaki chicken, pineapple chicken, grandma’s shrimp. The fried rice is probably the best thing. Teriyaki chicken has little to no flavor, grandmas shrimp had a hair in it, chow mein is extremely sweet…we’re barely touching our plates and deciding to throw away the 80% we have left. I only decided to write this review when I realized it’s leaving a terrible after taste in my mouth that is probably going to last this whole shopping trip and into the late evening at least. Need a toothbrushing stat!

This place is actually HORRIBLE! We got a bento box that has a lot of appetizers, almost none were even decent. The cold and grey sushi is the only thing that resembles japan, DO NOT recommend. (after a couple bites my appetite was gone)

The service is literally the worst i ever seen. Employees are talking on their phones while taking orders. And even tho i am not that picky to foods i ordered, chicken i just ordered smells so bad so i almost threw up. I would not advise it to anyone
