Reviewing donut shops after one visit is hard but I really enjoyed Manleys Donuts. I was worried I'd be disappointed when I didnt see the cereal donuts from the photos, but the donuts I did get was superb and the breakfast sandwich my partner got was great and affordable. But what really made it 5 stars was the service, the front counter was worked by a gentleman named Frankie who could not have done a better job making the place feel warm and inviting and the girl in the back was quick to come and help when the line seemed to get long.

Very friendly people! And the donut selection is not bad. Their bagels are also pretty reasonably priced.

I occasionally will get donuts for work and donuts holes. The do an amazing old fashion maple and they have many show stopper donuts. So you can buy a single donut strawberry shortcake thing or you can by som bars and sprinkles and old-fashion whichever your taste buds crave. The service is always courteous and sweet. It's a small operation but they do donuts well and don't get stuck trying to impress with latest gimmick donut they have some but they have old faces too.

Not sure why this place has such high reviews. Maybe they used to be great, but clearly I missed that window. Been looking for a new donut spot for me and my five year old since moving to the area. Came here on a Saturday at 7:30, completely out of just about everything, very dirty, baking and cooking supplies kind of haphazardly thrown about. Pass for me.

This donut shop is exceptional. The cinnamon cronut (croissant-donut) was my favorite but every flavor we tried was amazing. Service was excellent too. This is definitely our new donut shop!!!

I don't come to Manley's often, as I feel the donuts are too greasy for my taste. I think you can find better at Master donuts, Baker Bens and of course Rocklin Donuts to name a few. However, out of conveneince I decided to stop by this morning as a surprise to the kids before school. I was the only customer the entire visit. As I looked at the donuts, i saw there were some old fashioned with chocolate chips on them. My daughter wanted one of the chocolate bars with chocolate chips on it, so I politely asked if they had the chocolate chips on hand, to which the lady replied yes. I asked if she would be able to add chocolate chips to the chocolate bar, since they were readily available. Her answer was no, I don't want to do that. Ok, so you have the ability to add the chips but you don't want to? Yes, I don't want to do that. And there is no one else in the entire store. She said what else do you want. I said that was it and she said no again. Personally, my dollars mean more now than they have in a long time. With everything increasing in price, it's a concerted effort to choose where to spend those dollars and who to support when I go out. And customer service is as important as it's ever been. Unfortunately, that isn't the case for all and I found the whole experience disappointing. The extra effort it would have taken to add a few chocolate chips, was apparently too much for one individual to accomodate.

OMG talk about a hidden gem (Ok, maybe not so hidden, but it's been hiding from me!)! Manley's is a tiny but mighty donut shop putting out some fresh, light & airy pastries. The display case may be small but they still had a good variety of flavors and types of donuts and pastries. But since we got there later in the morning we already missed out on donut holes and the ube donuts I read about, and why I chose Manley's. When I asked if there were any ube donuts, he handed me one and said, "see if this is green tea or ube." I bit into the freshest, most flavorful moist donut ever! I said, "it's green tea but omg it is sooooo good!" I can imagine the ube one is just as scrumptious. I gobbled that up while I was deciding what else to get. My husband and the man helping us (owner?) got to talking football. He was really cool and so nice and welcoming. He even threw in another green tea donut in our bag for free. I had something that was called a "sunflower," and the texture and taste was like Hawaiian bread with chocolate icing and slivered almonds on top. It was fantastic. The cinnamon bun was too sweet for me, although to be fair, I tried it after eating 2 other donuts. Husband loved everything. Customer service and donuts were 5 + stars!
