If you're after genuine Japanese cuisine and experience, this isn’t the place. Given, It’s a lovely bistro, the dishes and portions are more aligned with Western tastes. Considering the price and food quality, I honestly can find better options in the area.

The fish quality is excellent, and the service is great. The atmosphere at this particular Mikuni is not as good though. The layout feels more like a cafeteria, and it's very loud inside.

Mikuni's is one of my favorite dinner spots. Try a pitcher of pineapple mojito. So many food & sushi options. And the mochi really hits the spot for small dessert!
Asked for an uni roll and was told $11 the wax told 18$
Then the uni roll came out and then was taken away. Then when the bill came was made to feel we were at fault and they did us a courtesy for fixing their mistake.
We spent $120 for lunch and the whole thing felt odd. Would not go again.
