I don't usually write these things but I think my words are better written here rather than kept in my head. Sadly there is no zero star option as that would be what I believe suits this restaurant best. I would like to start off by saying the staff employed at this restaurant provide some of if not the best service I have ever received. The food was always nice, hot and above all else tasted delicious. The staff is not whom I take issue with but instead management, in particular the owner. I have been unfortunately privy to the fact that over the past couple years the owner has terminated several employees days or hours before shifts. I have heard rumors of more but they are just rumors thus I think they are barely worth mentioning. These employees were given no recourse or reason for termination and thus were pushed out the door. Routinely applicants (mostly immigrants who are unaware of the protections given to them by California law) are hired in and within a few weeks or months are terminated with no explanation. Considering most of these employees are unaware of unlawful termination protections granted to them they are ripe for being abused by those looking to exploit them; the owner is one such. Under normal circumstances I would not recommend boycotting a restaurant because it hurts the employees just as much as it does the owner. With that said I think this is a bit of a different situation. As you read this every employee at My Thai Kitchen is ready to be axed at the owners whim. Right now there are three groups of people involved, the victims of employer abuse, the potential victims of future employer abuse, and the owner. I hope with the recent terminations every employee is currently looking for other employment that has less volatility and abuse by a morally corrupt owner. Finally as a message to the patrons of this restaurant I won't necessarily ask you to take your business elsewhere, instead I will caution you that you are subsidizing an abusive environment with every bite you take. Keep this in mind the next time you show up to eat at My Thai Kitchen and your favorite server is "away on holiday."

Food was delicious and portions were generous. I had the Thai egg rolls, Pad Thai noodles and pineapple fried rice. All three dishes were perfect and quite delightful. I did not spicy, which was good. Food was very flavorful without the spicy. Service was attentive, friendly, welcoming and with a smile. I will be going back again soon.

I came here last week and it's so good. Drunken noodles with duck was really tasty, thank you to my waitress, Poppy. She's the sweetest

We've been here fews times already and tipped well too but it seems like customers service had decreasingly declining on their ability to check back on us, for example they never ask if we need it refilled on drinks, i even put my empty cup on the edge of the table and still nothing. The whole time we sat their eating after the food came out, 45 minutes no one ask if we needed it refilled looking at our empty cup passing fewer times, still nothing! THEY WEREN'T EVEN BUSY!! 2 customer only! GEEZ I WONDER WHY!! So no TIPS, no return either. Food is 2-3 stars at best anyways.

extremely generous portions, and super value for money if you go for lunch (most items are $15.50, even do-it-yourself options). I got the stir fried DIY style -- chicken, eggplant, cashew nuts, bell peppers in sweet & sour sauce, and brown rice. the extensive menu will definitely have something you like. the staff are fast and attentive! it was easy to get a big table too.

Pretty decent Thai spot! The dishes were moderately priced and the portions were large. I ordered the pad see ew and thought it was pretty good overall, although the beef pieces were a little tough.

Went there for lunch on a midweek day. Lovely setting in an upscale shopping strip. Free parking is easy. Interior's warm jewel tones and booth-lined perimeter was very comfortable feeling. Thai art and decor was beautiful. The place has an open concept kitchen that allows patrons to savor the fun sights, sounds and aromas of the kitchen -- one thing this foodie does SO adore! Seems like quite the place for lunch take-out orders. There's even a dedicated nook just inside the door where folks can pick up their orders -- a GREAT touch. Thankfully, it wasn't too busy until around noon -- when the place got to jumping. The noise level was moderate, even with a crowd, nice if you are dining with someone and want to have a conversation. It seemed like mostly folks having lunch meetings and socializing. Speaking of groups, with the interior portion being individual tables, I can see how they can easily set up areas for large groups. Good to remember! Apparently, their patio is pet friendly, but it was rather coolish so I didn't see any puppy owners out there. I ordered Thai iced tea and Panang Curry with Chicken. The tea was disappointing at first, but once I stirred the contents thoroughly was greeted with that lovely, sweet spicy concoction I was savoring. The Panang curry was quite good and had an adequate portion. I prefer ones with a bit more of a peanut flavor with a denser consistency, but this was very tasty with a lovely Jasmine rice. I declare up front that I'm a curry snob, so keep that in mind, OK? Service was good -- friendly and attentive. My lunch took a while to make, but I know it was freshly cooked too! They use a spice scale or 0-4, with 4 being the hottest. I ordered level 2 and it was hot enough for this gal (and I can handle the heat fairly well). It's tough to know what spice level to order, in all honesty. I always order a low level of spicy as I can always turn up the heat with the condiment tray. If I do add condiments, I go slow and keep it to a small amount until I've got it right. You can always go MORE heat, but it's hard to go LESS heat. As always, folks with peanut allergies and dietary restrictions should read the menu carefully and talk to staff to ensure you get what you need. The price came in just over $20 which I think many people would consider reasonable. I was hoping for lower priced lunch specials (or a senior discount) but a gal can't have everything. They do have happy hour specials. Overall, I really liked My Thai Kitchen. I'll be back and try a non-curry dish next time.

I keep forgetting how yummy this place is! My fiancé and I stopped by this past Friday night. The place was buzzing, but mostly for to-go orders. Our wait staff was still attentive despite the hustle around getting those to-go orders filled, and our food came out relatively quickly. We ordered pork dumplings (aka little flavor bombs), Tom ka, drunken noodles, and basil fried rice. The soup had the most balanced flavor of coconut and lime. We savored every single bite/sip! The drunken noodles and basil rice were also amazing. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the broccoli still had the slightest crunch. The rice was sweet and savory and every bite was delicious. Highly recommend as we’ve never had a dish we didn’t love. Also, can’t forget the Thai iced tea!

If you are looking for authentic Thai food, stay away from this place. The Chef or whoever prepares their dishes should tastes their own food to see why it's not authentic Thai food. We ordered the pad se ew, crispy pork belly, MTK golden cup and crab fried rice. Except crab fried rice, very thing else was too salty and had no flavor not even come close to being Thai food. Service was decent.

Packed lunchtime so we sat in the patio area. It was chilly,, so our server kindly turned the outdoor heat lamp on for us.Every dish ordered, in our party, was very fresh and tasty. So many choices. Menu is clearly marked for dietary choices. Next time, I'll make a reservation. The blue rice and pineapple rice were amazing.Vegetarian options: Menu is clearly marked.Dietary restrictions: Menu is clearly marked.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor restaurant.

This is some of the most amazing best Thai food ever had. I've never been anywhere where I could literally make my own stirfry my own meal. Wonderful. Thank you for this experience. We will be back often. In fact we're coming there tonight.

Not my favorite anymore. There are other places that taste better or about the same and their prices don't go up every few months.
