On our way from SFO to Lake Tahoe, we decided to stop here—and I’m so glad we did! These might just be the best tacos I’ve ever had. When you sit down, you’re welcomed with four homemade salsas, each with its own unique heat and flavor profile. Even the spicier ones let you taste more than just heat, which I really appreciated. The homemade corn tortillas were perfect—just the right size and texture, giving the tacos a hearty, satisfying bite.

This is a terrific spot. The short rib was absolutely divine. The tacos are very good, if you are ordering the Nashville hot fried chicken taco then note that there isn't a ton of flavor for the spice. Short rib taco is absolutely divine 9.1/10. The picadillo taco is also very good 8.8/10. Overall was fantastic. Went back the next day to do the short rib in a burrito, and that was also extremely good. I'd highly recommend their short rib to anyone heading this way

Ever since I saw the place on Michelin guide, it was on my list to visit. Sadly, it was far below my expectation. Few of our orders were dry and in need of something to add moisture and crunch. A single inch piece of avocado didn't do much for the dry short rib barbacoa. Chicken adobo was dry and didn't seem to have adobo. I had hopes for octopus but I didn't taste any of the sauces listed on the menu except chili oil. I'm actually surprised this...
