It's been like 10 years since I've been to a purple kow, so I was excited to see one pop up relatively nearby. IMO, it's in a kinda weird/hidden location in Roseville. It's not convenient to me personally, so idk if I'll be back. It's at the end of a shopping center and there's not much parking by it, but I don't think you'll have an issue finding a spot. The drinks are a good value imo. The fat cups are unique but difficult to carry and don't fit in like any cup holders. You get a lot of toppings though, like half the cup. I got a peach qq (comes with boba & lychee jelly, which I substituted for green tea jelly). I didn't really notice the green tea jelly in my drink, so idk if I would get it again. Unfortunately, there was only one guy working when I went in on a Saturday around noon. Idk if someone called in or it was poor scheduling, but I hope that's not a common thing for them. I waited like 35 min for my one drink. I had two orders ahead of me, which unfortunately for me they ordered like 3 drinks and 3 hot foods, but I was more annoyed that the two people who ordered after me go their drinks before me (which included some more complicated/time consuming blended drinks). I try to be understanding of overworked staff, but I do not like it when those who came after me get served first. I would get it if the people after me had the same drink as the people before me and he was making it all at once because it's easier that way, but that was not the case. Finally, when I got my drink, a second person came in to help. Hopefully they were quicker after that, but if I ever went in again and saw it was one person then I would leave.

The Caramel Ice Milk with Pudding is so good! I remember when I first had Purple Kow at Berkeley, and it's still as delicious. We also got some other milk teas and fruits teas to try as well, they were also super refreshing! They had these colossal size chicken nuggets (popcorn chicken). It came in this cute bucket with a yummy spicy aioli. The workers were super nice, and the place is cute!

I decided to try new different boba places instead of the one I always go to. This place been on my bookmark. This place is near by the busy plaza, easy to find . Not a lot of parking by the front of the store but has more parking in the area. When we walked in. The store was empty , saw the worker actually do cleaning which is good . The store is clean. The cashier is very friendly, informative and she even offered sample for the topping that I never tried before. I order purple kow pistachio grass jelly boba. They let me substitute the matcha pudding with grass jelly. Get 50% of sweetness. They don't put a lot of ice and the size is pretty good. The drink is good but too sweet to my taste . Very creamy. I requested if they could add ice inside my drink so I can dilute it. They are actually happily helping me . The service is definitely the reason that I will be back next time. The only thing is the boba feel little bit hard like not fully cook. Other than that this place is amazing. Lots of tables and seating, good place for meet up with friends and family. Will be back next time.

This review is purely based off a drink my sister brought home to me so I can't speak on the actual place(not yet but soon!). She told me she was going here and asked if I wanted anything. I asked her to grab me whatever she was getting and she got the pistachio milk tea with boba and matcha pudding at 80% sweetness. The drink was HUUUUUUUUUGGGGEEEE and had so much boba in it. I usually kill my drinks pretty fast because I'm a sugar fiend/addict but this one was a task lol. Even at 80% sweetness(I always get 100% everywhere else) the drink was great, and the boba and matcha were tasty. Definitely going to be visiting this place very soon.

Service was great & loved the place overall! The drinks were they were generous with toppings and the amount of ice was perfect unlike most places. I did find a bit too sweet for me at 50 percent sugar so will try 0 percent next time! It's definitely somewhere I look forward to trying again!

Love checking out new boba spots! To my surprise it was pretty orange inside lol. The worker informed me Purple Kow is from the bay & known for their creamy drinks! He was very helpful & informative. I tried D10 which was pistachio flavored with matcha pudding & boba OMG so good and creamy!! I love pistachio flavored items. Will definitely be coming back :)

The drinks here are consistent with how I remember it tasting in the bay. It's very spacious and well decorated inside with plenty of seating. What we got: Garlic wings - super juicy, must try! Chicken nuggets - their version of popcorn chicken but the chicken is definitely nugget size, comes with house sauce. Also good, didn't have too much batter which I appreciate. D5 - iced milk with caramel, grass jelly, and boba F8 - rosie oolong with lychee They def do not skip out on the drink toppings like most boba places nowadays. I usually order the D3 - iced milk with caramel, pudding, and boba so I recommend that one too! Just keep in mind their drinks do come in the chubby cups that might not fit into car cup holders.

I was so happy that there was a Purple Kow location closer to my home! I usually go to Berkeley or the one in SF! So you can see how excited I was when I heard! But I am kinda disappointed, I got D3 as I usually do. The boba was either not fully cooked or they don't have many customers and the boba is like a day or 2 old! The service was great! The two gentleman who helped me were extremely nice! The only thing was the boba it was really hard I couldn't chew it!

My boyfriend and I are from the bay and we were both so stoked to see that Purple Kow opened up here in Roseville! My bf got his usual (F7) and he said it tastes like how it was in the bay. Then I tried D3 (a milk tea that the registrar recommended) and it was hella good tooo! The popcorn chicken and the garlic wings were delicious with generous portions. Definitely would come back for the drinks, food, price, and service♥️
