I'm so grateful for Pushkin's Bakery & Cafe. I have R.A. along with gluten intolerance and dairy allergies for the past 40 years. So, this place is Heaven on Earth! Everything is delicious. Everything!
I stopped for my first time (from the Reno/Lake Tahoe area) and ordered the oatmeal cranberry cookie, oatmeal sandwich, oatmeal cranberry sandwich, and the marinated tofu banh mi. I've only tried the oatmeal cranberry cookie and the oatmeal sandwich, but they were delicious 😋. The oatmeal sandwich reminds me of the one at Senza Gluten-free bakery in Las Vegas. Although the items were a bit pricey, it was totally worth it. The banh mi was good, but it was a little spicy....
I wish there was a place like this closer to me, whenever I visit Sacramento I stock up on pastries for the freezer. I also get sandwiches and coffee here and they're good too! I have food allergies so this place is a gift.
