This was the first time dining at Q1227 at the new location! Absolutely stunning! Staff was amazing, dinner was fabulous, desert was disappointing. Ordered my favorite dessert crème brûlée, upon service it looked beautiful. Unfortunately I believe the dessert was premade ahead with the sugar brittle completed and refrigerated. So my first bite the sugar brittle was gummy and did not have that crunch like crème brûlée normally has, custard was great.
The entire experience was fantastic. Will definitely be returning. The garlic cheese bread starter was great. Entrees were great. 2 things to be aware of: alcohol selection very minimal right now. And they automatically add 18% tip no matter size if party. If we didn't catch it we woulda added another 20% on top.
This is a "fabulous restaurant". From the food, to the service, it was an outstanding evening. We loved every minute of it. My husband had the "oyster Rockefeller" for an appetizer and he said it was "amazing". I had the jumbo prawn, I've never, ever had a prawn so big and oh so delish, came with lemon and butter. Main entree, my husband had the scallops and I had the meatloaf, OMG, sooooooooooooooo good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It couldn't have been any better, fixed perfectly. We capped it off with creme brulee and peach cobbler for dessert. A little pricey, but so worth it, we will be back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was our first visit to the new location, it's very nice, lots more space. They are still in the process of getting their license to serve alcohol at this time, wine and beer only. The lobster bites are still yummy, the Brussel sprouts chips were tasty. We opted for a small entree to save room for dessert. The gumbo was too salty for our taste, they graciously took it off our check. The cream brûlée is delicious. Definitely will return!
It's always the best and this year we had one of the best service experiences. Ian was just amazing and so respectful and attentive. We would go back and request his section again. When he brought out my Birthday dessert, the Birthday song played in beautiful jazz over the restaurant speakers 🥹🥳 Thank you for making my Birthday 10x more special Ian
Excellent! The new location is so much roomier! The wait staff- Miles- very knowledgeable. The manager Nick- very helpful with our gift certificate. Food great- definitely will be back!🥂
Apparently they are having issues with their liquor license, so only beer and wine available. We were surprised that they didn't have either sweet tea, or at least plain black iced tea. They also added an auto gratuity. Hard no for me. Space was beautiful, and food was decent.
This was my 4th time eating here, but the first at the new location and the food was the best it has ever been. The service is outstanding without being intrusive and the presentation and flavor of everything is so well thought out and absolutely delicious.
Pro: Neat decor, good was very tasty, connected to mall in nice area, good choices. Con: very loud, overpriced for value imo, good got burnt and was delayed. There was no comp for that. Also they charge the same amount for a glass of wine as they do a bottle so there's no break to get a bottle.
Best restaurant in Sacramento. I had the opportunity to visit the new location for my birthday. Love the food and service.
Thank you Chef Q. ????

On a Tuesday Nov 26th. No alcohol available only 2or 3 kinds of full bottle wine to purchase. :(. The service was great. Food wise excellent . It was weird eating without a drink, just waster or soda. Not even real tea! Of course the bar was empty and no booze!

We have been several times now and happy to say ~ this restaurant is consistently great! Please try the cheesy bread! So so good. The service is warm and inviting. The chef will often come to your table to check in. The servers are wonderful, service with a smile style and knowledgeable about the menu. Love the vibe and the atmosphere is comfortable and classy!

This was our first visit to the new location at the Galeria and it was very good. The customer service is as good or better than you will receive anywhere eating out. Extremely attentive. The food is worth the price and we both had leftovers.
The bread pudding desert was tasty..

I haven't eaten there yet. My five star review is regarding the character of the owners. A tenant of mine worked there during the beginning of the pandemic. Times when everything was uncertain. She told me how well they took care of their staff during those times. Also about how charitable they were to the community. My wife and her friends are on their way there tonight, and I was reminded of the stories told to me.
The food saved this very expensive meal. Took 20 min for just water. They ran out of glasses. Food was slow to come out but was excellent. Served the salad with meal because they forgot it. Then charged us twice for salad. People who had reservations waited 40 minutes beyond their time. Limited on alchohol heard them quote table next to us $80 for a bottle. They have some opportunities for vast improvement.
