Q1227 is a bit pricey, but worth it if you're willing to spend the money. I had their beef wellington and macaroni and cheese, which were both very good! All of their dishes have incredible flavor, especially their garlic cheese loaf which we received for free. I honestly don't think I've ever had better bread at a restaurant! The ambience is amazing with their live music and dimly lit interior. The low lighting isn't too dark, but just enough to set the mood. The service also made our experience much more pleasant. Our servers were very charismatic, and we even received our garlic cheese loaf for free because we were celebrating a graduation. I would definitely go here again!

Had a very disappointing experience for dinner.

After waiting nearly 40 minutes for our food, we were informed that the salmon for 2/4 of our group ordered was sold out. What made the situation more frustrating was that during that time, we watched the chef put on an extended “show” for a nearby special table. From our perspective, it appeared that attention was focused on creating content and entertaining select guests rather than ensuring all diners were taken care of.

When we were finally told about the salmon, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the delay. The interaction was dismissive. To make matters worse, half of our table who did receive food were served cold dishes that obviously have been sitting out, received very cold responses from the management team.

When we expressed concerns about the experience, our waiter was completely apologetic and went to speak to management.

We observed the manager wave off our waiter who seemed genuinely concerned about our table’s complaints and look frustrated…. All while continuing to film content of the desserts that were being presented to the special table. It was very uncomfortable to witness and even more frustrating.

The overall experience felt disorganized and lacking in basic hospitality. It gave the impression that management culture prioritizes image and selective experiences over consistent quality and customer care for everyone in the room.

Unfortunately, it was an unpleasant evening, and we expected much better.

The ambiance is beautiful and truly sets the tone for a fine-dining experience.

My mother had been wanting to dine here for quite some time, so I decided to take her. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant, an area with a lot of activity as servers moved constantly throughout the space. In the future, I would request a booth or one of the tables along the wall for a more relaxed experience.

The lighting is dim, with a small table lamp placed at the center of the table, which was very helpful when reading the menu.

We decided to go all out and ordered champagne and Moscato, a spinach artichoke dip to start, a crab Louie salad to share, ginger lamb, beef Wellington, broccolini, greens, and mac and cheese.

**Spinach Artichoke Dip:** Unfortunately, this was watery and lacked flavor. The most noticeable taste came from the grill marks on the toast it was served with.

**Crab Louie Salad:** This dish featured a generous portion of lump crab meat and was served wedge-style with sliced egg and cherry tomatoes. It was nicely presented and enjoyable.

**Ginger Lamb:** My mother enjoyed this dish.

**Beef Wellington:** I was pleased that the ground mustard flavor was not overpowering. The meat was cooked to perfection and sliced like butter; however, no particular flavors stood out.

**Mac and Cheese:** Very basic and unremarkable.

**Broccolini:** It was well prepared and looked delicious, though it was a bit too oily for my taste.

For dessert, I initially ordered the bread pudding, but it was doughy and lacked flavor. I exchanged it for the flourless chocolate cheesecake, which was amazing. My mother ordered the same dessert. We also had coffee, which was served in a generously sized mug and was excellent.

Overall, I’m glad I had the experience. The total came to over $400, including the automatically added 18% gratuity.

The service, however, was impeccable. The staff genuinely cares about the guest experience. The chef personally visits tables to introduce himself, check in, and offer assistance. The management team is attentive, and the servers are phenomenal.

I would return for the outstanding service and to enjoy drinks at the bar during happy hour. That said, I’m not sure I would return for dinner, as I felt underwhelmed given the price point.

My wife and I found this place. When heading up to reno. I ordered the bone in ribeye, she ordered the crab louie a salad and we shared, food and service was excellent. The steak had great flavor and was high quality cut my only complaint was it was a bit thin for my liking.Crab louie salad was very good again.Only thing I could say was they didn't offer any cracked pepper or have any pepper shakers at the table. After having a great dessert, the chef stopped by and manager to say hello, and ask how the food was. They were very friendly and I would definitely return to this restaurant.Very good high quality meals. My wife said the sides were some of the best. She had ever eaten and I agree, they were very good.

To insure repeat customer visits please consider these issues: Inspect menus and replace any food stained, torn or frayed paper pages. Our menus were dirty and the pages were torn and in poor condition. Wipe down & clean placemats at the bar after use. Ours were spotted and we watched used mats being put right back into the pile without being cleaned after use. Manage the wine list inventory better and with better price clarity. We ordered a bottle of Camus Cab at $110 menu price. The bartender came back with a different bottle of cab saying they were out of Camus. After reviewing the limited cab choices we agreed to buy the presented bottle. When the bill came the bottle price was $35 more than the Camus and in our opinion nowhere as good. Thank you for taking these issues into consideration.

Our first time dining at the new location. There was nothing wrong with the old location but the new one is next level. A must see for that alone. As usual, the food and the dining experience were exquisite! Nothing disappointed. And for dessert, the coconut cake was incredibly delicious. Chef Q makes it himself and it is worth a return visit by itself. We had a great seat where we could see all of the action in the open Kitchen, with Chef Q directing the operation like a maestro. We also enjoyed the visit to our table by “Mrs Q” (we don't know her name). She is wonderful! Can't wait to return!

Gratuity for two ppl is wild I still ended up tipping on top of that but I will not return I can see this place is for a specific crowd but no need to get into all that.

The food was delicious. If I could give it another star, I would. It's our new favorite restaurant.

Food was good. Lobster bites were too salty. The gumbo, artichoke beignets, Paloma were delicious. The shrimp and grits were ok. I didn't care for the meatloaf and I love meatloaf.
