We had a great experience tonight! Our server was great and everyone we spoke to was super friendly! We got there within the last hour of closing and they didn’t make us feel rushed at all, and our food was delicious.

We enjoyed the bone marrow with beef tartar, roasted foraged mushrooms and chips on top, the pork belly confit with fennel apple salad, and the southern fried chicken with gravy and mash. The marrow was different but really tasty! The pork belly confit was amazing but I was really impressed with the balanced fennel apple slaw. The fried chicken was really good too, not overly spicy but again, another well balanced dish. Also I don’t typically care for gravy, but this was lighter on salt and bigger on flavor which I appreciated. The chicken could have gone maybe a min less as it was getting to the point of being over, but overall always still really good and we ate it all! The crème brulee finished off our dinner, it was very creamy, more like a petite pot pudding, less bouncy, very vanilla and flavorful.

We look forward to returning and trying out a chefs table experience in the future!

This restaurant, Q1227, was recommended by my Niece. It was a little difficult to find and get to from the street, as there were no signs on the outer buildings. We had to either valet or park in the garage, because the restaurant, Q1227, was inside the promenade area. The restaurant was tastefully decorated and well lit. They accommodated our party of 9. The service was very slow, but the food was EXCEPTIONAL!! We started with the garlic cheese bread, which was phenomenal!! Other items that we ordered were the lobster bites, gumbo, mac and cheese and spicey chicken pasta. Everyone said that their food was delicious. If you are ever in Roseville, this is a great place for a date night. Very upscale.

Excellent service and atmosphere. Food was very good. Particularly liked the lamb chops. For dessert the carrot cake is excellent, but thought the bread pudding was just ok.

Excellent! It was my first time there and I could not have been more happier. the music was very soothing and nice. I enjoyed the food also.

Ok food. It was just me and my wife and they still charged us a mandatory 20% tip, even though I crossed it out and added my own tip.

Extremely Disappointed – Thanksgiving Order Mishandled

We planned our Thanksgiving dinner almost a month in advance through Q1227’s online portal, selecting a turkey pickup for 11/27 at 4:30 PM, the date and time clearly offered on their system. On 11/26, after we had already visited the restaurant earlier in the day for brunch, my wife received a voice mail at 7:29 PM from Christina stating that the restaurant would actually be closed on the 27th and that “tonight is the last pickup.” She instructed us to come by 8:15 if we wanted our order. They did not answer the phone on repeated callbacks. We rushed over as fast as we could and arrived at 8:10 only to be told by Christina that they had closed 10 minutes ago and there were no more turkeys left, that they hadn’t made enough, and that it was their fault. Why would you tell us to come pick up something that didn’t exist? Nothing was offered in compensation, just a refund of our $193.

So after planning ahead, paying in advance, and being told to come pick up our order, we were left with nothing, on the eve of Thanksgiving. I understand mistakes happen, but this was extremely poorly handled. If you call a customer to pick up their order, that order should still exist. Instead, our Thanksgiving plans were completely destroyed. Very disappointing experience, and certainly not what we expected from a restaurant of this caliber. We were frequent patrons, after being treated like this we will never go back.

My 1st time coming, It was my son’s 33rd birthday and we had reservations for 3 p.m. The lobster roll and the spinach artichoke dip was AMAZING, I ordered the shrimp & grits and I was a little disappointed but overall it was a great experience and I’m glad we went!

Honestly was one of the best restaurant experiences my wife and I ever had. Food was immaculate. Live music was a nice touch and very on par with the overall vibe of the restaurant. Loved reading the chefs message on the menu and his beliefs. Would definitely recommend Q1227 to all of our friends and will definitely be coming back!

Food was good. Waiter was cool.
Had an 7pm reservation, didn't get seated to our table until after 8.
