Q1227 is my favorite place to eat in town. We celebrated the birthdays of two family members there last night, and everyone had an amazing time. I really appreciated that we were able to make a reservation for a large party, in advance, for a Saturday night — not all restaurants offer that anymore. The table was ready on time, and we had a special section reserved in the back for our group. We will definitely be coming back again.
The crabs didn’t taste very fresh, and the bottom was filled with potatoes. It seems like the recipe has changed compared to another location I visited before, which was a bit disappointing. However, the service was excellent—truly first-class—so overall the experience was still quite good.
Excellent service and food! This was my first visit and we will be back! We had the meatloaf and short ribs and crème brûlée for dessert. Everything was flavorful and delicious! We enjoyed the wine but would like to see a more comprehensive offering. There is typically jazz on Fridays and Saturdays which added to the ambiance. We are looking forward to.returning soon!
