Husband and I came here for Thanksgiving as it's our anniversary. The place was beautifully decorated for the holidays, lovely Christmas tree, plenty of lights and visually stunning art pieces.
The service was good. Bathrooms are super clean.
Our food was phenomenal. I had the filet mignon and my partner got the mushroom risotto. Every element on my dish was cooked to perfection. I enjoyed every bite and polished it off. My hubby's risotto was creamy, Savory, the right texture and just stunning overall. You could taste the truffle and cheese blend in harmony. The food was truly a work of art. We finished with raspberry and vanilla gelato. I love that gelato is on the menu because it's so hard to find in Sacramento. It was a great evening and I'd love to be back.

I used to really like this place, I've been here several times, it's delicious and beautiful here. But until one case. I arranged to celebrate my birthday in advance, I was allowed to bring a cake and decorations to the table, but when we arrived at the celebration itself, the manager seemed to be very rude and unfriendly, he rudely ordered us to sit down when we were taking photos, he was unhappy that there were children there, he said to remove the strollers. They never brought me a candle for the cake, it's good that I brought mine from home, and this is despite the fact that they took $50 for cutting the cake and said that there would be a candle. The celebration was ruined, all my guests really didn't like the attitude, although the waiter himself was very friendly. I don't advise you to celebrate any holiday here

I made a reservation and when I arrived the hostess offered us a half booth for 2. We had zero privacy. The people sitting next to us were 2 feet beside us.
For a fine dining restaurant you get the seating of a cafeteria. How disappointing.
The clam chowder was pure salt.
I had to send it back. She said she would take it off the bill. I was okay with that
She apparently charged me anyways and I had to remind her quietly as we had zero privacy being sat so close to others
Food was salty too.
If you are looking for a fine dining you might want to look for a place where your not packed in like sardines. Menu prices are the same as a quaint fine dining place that values your night out and privacy
Excellent service! Food was fresh and great flavor! We will be coming back for sure. Price was a little on the upper end but you get what you pay for!! Very good and I recommend it to anyone looking for good food, great ambiance and excellent service.

Dined at Rose Park Bistro last night. It was fabulous loved the gnocchi, and the salmon. The dessert was on point. The server was great. We tried the pistachio cake. It was amazing. But we received a really old tired beet salad that should’ve never been served. It seemed like it had just come out of a clamshell and was wilted in places. We will definitely be back, but salad was disappointing compared to the rest of the meal..

I gave a five star review but there was definitely one con that I will talk about after sharing what I liked.
The esthetic is fabulous. Walking in, the decor is beautiful and pleasing. The hostess was very amiable and despite it being a Saturday and lunch time, there was no wait and she showed us directly to our table. The food was excellent - I had the mushroom risotto and my son had the teriyaki steak - both delicious. The risotto was cooked to perfection and was creamy, yet still fresh thanks to the peas, asparagus and micro greens. We had the sticky pudding for dessert which tasted good, but the sugar was still granulated (possibly the chef used turbinado sugar?) which created a texture I did not care for, but my son ate the whole thing, so still a win.
Our server Brittany was a super star despite being super in the weeds thanks to bad management.
And here is what really bothered me about my visit. It was a Saturday at lunchtime. There was a large 50th birthday party in the private room full of ladies who were clearly ready to enjoy some cocktails. Our server, Brittany, was not only serving, but also the lone bartender. Meanwhile, the manager was walking around doing absolutely NOTHING! And despite being super in the weeds, Britanny managed to make massive amounts of cocktails AND not drop the ball on service to our table. The manager should be fired. He should have properly staffed the restaurant for the large birthday party and a Saturday lunch. If people called in sick, he should have promoted a busser (there were plenty) to server to help out. He should have jumped in as a server to help out. He should have jumped in and at least poured beer and wine to help out. He should have done ANYTHING to help out. But he was just dead weight. Walking around doing nothing while his bartender was struggling to keep up with orders. The manager didn't even come over to our table to check in (which was something I often did as manager if I had free time - customer feedback is super important!) And, having been a manager myself, bad management really sticks in my craw. You can tell when it is the staff and when it is the fault of management. Which is why I still left an excellent review because the staff and the chef are fantastic, and I will be back again.
So, to the owners, whoever was working as manager on October 19th, lunchtime, you should fire him. Get someone in there who knows what they are doing so your amazing staff can have the support that they need.

Today we visited Rose Bar Bistro, and the experience was absolutely delightful! The octopus dish was simply exquisite—tender with a perfect texture. I would also like to highlight the lobster, which was cooked to perfection. The mushroom risotto impressed with its rich flavor and creamy consistency. We ended our meal with an excellent espresso—strong and aromatic. The staff was polite, and the atmosphere was cozy. I will definitely be coming back!
