My daughter was just getting over being sick and all she wanted was Rubio’s chicken tacos. I tried putting an order in on the internet but continued to get error messages so I tried calling in my order. I explained to the person who answered the phone that the internet ordering service was not working, he said he’d take my order over the phone but first needed to check with the manager. He said his manager would not allow it because they stopped accepting telephone orders and that I would need to order in person. I get to Rubio’s and was told they didn’t have enough chicken to make the 6 chicken tacos I wanted. The cook in the back came out and offered fish or beef, said he already cleaned the grill and was not cooking anymore meat nor would I want that chemical on my food. When I told him my daughter doesn’t like fish or want beef, he threw his head back and laughed and said, “this is a seafood restaurant”. If they knew they were low on ingredeints/food and wasn’t going to make more then they should’ve made me aware of this before having me drive there. I asked to speak with the manager. The cook (who refused to give his name) told me if I didn’t leave he’ll call the cops which he proceeded to do, his 4 friends standing around in the back all laughed. What a horrible experience. I haven’t been back since.

I came in an hour before close, and aubrey took my order. From the start, I felt very unwelcome. When I said I was ready to order she didn't a thing and just tapped the register. She was very snippy and you could just tell she wanted me to leave as soon as I got there. Aubrey needs to learn what customer service is.

I make it a point to eat at Rubio's as often as I can whenever I'm in the area because they have delicious fish tacos and burritos. Their food is consistently good and employees are always friendly and welcoming.Vegetarian options: Rice and beans

It was the most horrible experience. We waited 45 min for our order because they gave it to another client and after 45 min they looked at us and asked us: oh, you still want your food?I recommend you skip this place all together. Horrible.

Cashier was absolutely sweet. Great at reading people.The burrito was to die for.The shrimp taco I've had many times, but this one wasn't as flavorful as in past visits for some reason.Bathroom had a puddle of water for some reason.Soda machines carbonation was off.

I use to LOVE Rubios, this was my place to go for years. I can tell with this last year they are struggling, especially with employees. But because I loved the food, I didn't care, I was patient even though it took 20 min for a taco plate. But today, my chicken meat in my taco was the worst quality, big chewy pieces, so abnormal and truly gross. I'm so so disappointed, I will never go again after today. It's sad.

Stopped by due to friends' recommendation for a deal on fish tacos for lunch. Tacos were delicious and flavorful. I also ordered chips that didn't come out the freshest but were immediately replaced no questions asked. Jade followed to make make sure everything was good which it absolutely was. Great job. That's the lost art of customer service.

Just waited an hour for 10 tacos. Sat there while they let my food sit in the back. Husband went in to get my order and told me they called his name while I was waiting inside. They did not call his name once. Even if they had called his name and I did ignore it they could have very easily just got my attention. Im not sure why they lied about something so stupid? Thanks for the cold tacos. Sorry they don't pay you enough to do your job properly.

The food I received was good, but they neglected to serve me an item I ordered. This has happened at other locations. Truxel Rd, Sacramento, my eyes are on you. But what really piss me off was that I wanted to try Coconut Shrimp that was on their app. The other nearby Rubios did not have it listed on their app. The manager at that location must be somewhat conscientious. The lady cooking my meal was super sweet. She was the only thing positive out of my experience .She was genuinely very apologetic and you could tell she felt bad. She has quite good customer skill. She should be in the front helping customers in my opinion. The girl that was taking orders acted the total opposite. She acted like she didn’t want to be there. The employee that was helpful mentioned that the manager has neglected to take the Coconut shrimp off the app. She said shetold him about it and he didn’t care. Seems he didn’t think it was a big deal. It is a big deal when you already pay for an item, and you drive out of your way to receive that item. The lady at the front desk that forgot my itemwas also impatient to leave. She gave me a goodbye, but it wasn’t a very respectful “goodbye”. It was quite dismissive and was really rushed and seemed rude. I know the ladies working may have been be stressed out as they mentioned to another customer that they had a backlog of mobile orders, but there was only 1 other customer besides me in the store that was waiting .I’ve been to Rubios countless times and have always had at least an “average” experience. This is my first bad experience. I used to go to Rubios once a week for years, so that is saying something. This experience is why I will never tip at a Rubios again. The idea that’s places want you to tip before you’re served is ridiculous, but specially when you have bad service like I did.

First time I went to this location. I placed my order with a guy with red hair and he did a good job. However a lady came out to change cash register drawers. She was very polite and before she got my food together for takeout she politely excuse herself to wash her hands after touching the money. She thanked me kindly for coming in. A very genuine lady on the short side with dark hair. It was around 4:30 pm.
