I went here the other night and got some ice cream, at first everything was fine. After I paid, my cherry dropped from my ice cream and onto the counter. Obviously since 2 cherries cost 75 cents, I ate the cherry. The worker looked at me as if I had licked the floor. I regret tipping him $3.

The employees behind the counter are not wearing gloves while scooping ice cream. The worker who served us yesterday repeatedly dipped the scoop into the container and came back with half of his hand covered in ice cream. He then placed that scoop directly into the cup I was served.
When making my daughter’s shake, the same thing happened, his hand was covered in ice cream, and he then turned around to prepare the shake, scratched his nose, and continued making it without washing his hands.
This is not sanitary. Please provide your employees with gloves and proper hygiene training. Until then, I don’t feel comfortable returning.

Salt & Straw is such an amazing place! Their unique and creative flavors blew us away we tried Strawberry Honey Balsamic with Black Pepper, Strawberry & Coconut Water Sherbet, Pear & Blue Cheese, and Coffee & Love Nuts. I honestly can’t pick a favorite… I loved them ALL! We ordered online and picked up everything was ready right on time. After that, we walked over to the fountains to enjoy our ice cream with a beautiful view. One of the coolest things? They offer ice cream perfume you can spray on top! I didn’t try it this time, but I’m definitely checking it out on our next visit. I’ve never seen anything like that before! Can’t wait to come back and try more flavors. 💫🍨
