We walk here with our dog about once a week! Coffee is wonderful and so are the scones. Lovely deck with tables as well as an open-air indoor space as well. We love it and it’s been here for years!

Thank you, Shady Coffee, for always providing excellent service, coffee, and food everytime I visit. Every one of their staff is chill, down to earth, and makes you feel welcomed. Special shout out to Alex, who is kind, efficient, and shows the utmost respect to her clients. She helped two customers prior to helping me, and in each interaction she made sure to offer them options related to their drink and food orders. A kind greeting goes a long way, and a visit to the coffee shop can set the tone for the rest of your day. I appreciate her for that. Shady coffee understands their people matter. And on top of it, their coffee is top notch and they're food portions are generous! Staple in the community!

This is my go to place to meet colleagues and partners. Always top tier foods and drinks, never disappointed. The staff are very polite and always helpful. The only thing to keep in mind is that the parking is mainly on the street, so arrive 5 to 10 minutes early and allow yourself time to park with less stress. You won't be disappointed.

Been forever since I’ve taken the deserved time to share. I don’t have Gma with me anymore. At 106 now I know she wants to do it all still but it’s just tough for her to enjoy an outing that involves all the X factors that come with visiting a Greater Sac coffee shop for the first time.
I gave it all 5’s because I do think they hit all the marks for the crowd that wants to be here.

My black coffee wasn’t hot enough but very close and delicious. Super appreciated the $1.35 refill as some joints charge full price and for a poor guy - that’s always hard.
The pastries / desserts looked good so I’m gonna assume Gma would’ve given a 5 on that.
I did spend what felt like a fortune on their chix sandwich. After asking for a side of the sauce that was sparsely spread I loved every single bite.
This place is the bomb! Not for my gma though. Maybe we will come in the summer and sit out back and she’ll love it too.

Shady has mastered the balance between excellent service and quality drinks. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, feeling less like a coffee shop and more of a third place to engage with the local community. Highly recommend
