My first trip there and I do not see myself going back. Very disappointed. There were quite a few regulars there too, which confused me. Maybe it was just my cup of coffee? It was the worst cup I have ever had. ? the temperature they had their americano drip set to burned any flavor leftover from the grounds - which tasted as though there was two cups already made. I'm sorry to leave a bummer review, but am really wondering what the heck happened?

First time here. Small cozy coffee place. Very dark inside and mainly small tables so not ideal for a bigger group than 3 per table. Tried their hot mocha and avocado toast. Nice work on presentation on the mocha. Avocado toast was very simple which is why the price was also lower than other places with a fancier version. Good local coffee place if you are nearby.

Shady has been a long standing favorite of mine out in Roseville. I'll find any reason to stop in and visit them. Its your typical light breakfast/lunch fair spot, nothing over the top from them. Food is always fresh and well prepared. And as should be expected, coffee is quality and prepared by people that care about their craft!

Coconut cake and lemon poppy seed sooo moist and delicious Fair prices! Especially for a small buiness in this economy

Trying really hard to find more coffee shops that allow me to create a work space etc. So i can do work and chill. the vibe is chill, but the service feels patronizing and not to par with the prices. Took like 10 minutes for a late. It feels like, "Empire Records," meets 2024 Starbucks, and I just want peace and quiet. I get it, I don't understand traditional coffee, but neither do half the customers coming it adds to the time it takes many to order. It's an experience... for a late? Eh. Lol
I ordered a Latte with oat milk. Oat milk substitution was 1.75 additional which I thought very expensive and barista didn't froth the oat milk well. Flavor of the coffee was mediocre. Nice atmosphere, but I won't recommend it if you want a good coffee.

This is easily one of the best coffee shops in the area, with an amazing shaded patio, great breakfast food (including delicious scones), high-quality coffee and a local feel. I can't recommend it enough!

I love the neat little cubbies inside mimicking a old school train car and the large shaded patio area.
Coffee is on point. There's a great menu if you are hungering for a bite to eat.
If you are looking for a funky and unique place to grab some java Shady Coffee & Tea fits the bill.
