My sissie and I enjoy eating at new places and decided since we've never been to hibachi before so we came to try this place out. Ordering was easy, watching them make it was fun and the food was delicious.

Lots and lots of tasty food, served with a flair and humor. Great teppanyaki, priced accordingly.

This is a fun place to always watch them prepare your food. The chefs are good and the weight staff is a tentative. It's not knock down delicious but very decent. It's a pretty expensive place. The tips are built in for large parties which is typically why they get are high. The floors could be cleaned a little bit better and the countertops since a lot of the prepared dishes are more greasy thus it's harder to keep the surfaces as clean.Vegetarian options: If you have a lot of restrictions you probably ought to restrict yourself and stay home and watch CNN. Otherwise you can have soup and rice here.Dietary restrictions: You can stay home and have rice cakes and tofu if you don't want to go out and have fried food prepared in front of you.Parking: Hobby lobby and other busy stores are in this lot so it's hard to park most of the time.

Amazing service, great food, in a charming little shopping center. Eat well and then hit up the hobby lobby for all your crafting needs.

It's hard for me to figure out how to rate this place. It's a neat Teppanyaki spot in an area without many choices, since the vastly overrated Benihana's closed down a while back. The chef is always great. Easy to talk to, puts on a great show, and prepares the food well. The restaurant itself was very cold when we went, and it appeared that the heating/ac was out of commission. Luckily the heat from the grill made up for the chill. The service outside of the chef was terrible. They forgot to bring our soup and our rice without being asked several minutes late, didn't offer any drink refills, and generally seemed completely disinterested in providing service at all. I think part of the confusion was multiple service staff members performing different roles, and it was hard to know who was bringing what and who to ask for what. We've had better service here in the past and will probably be back again, unless another Teppanyaki spot opens in the Orangevale/Citrus Heights/Folsom area.

Love this place. The food is amazing and the staff are super friendly. We've been there probably close to ten times now, and we are treated like family every time we go. Atmosphere is pretty casual as well which is great, it's very welcoming. Look forward to going again soon.

A cook YELLED LOUDLY in front of us at the wait person for trying to get us in for our reservation so we left... but here are the details.I called ahead for reservations for 12:00 but was told no, 12:15 is better. I specifically indicated it was for my birthday. We arrived and were told we had to wait awhile. We asked the wait person how long we would be waiting, she said your reservation is for 12:30, which no, I told her I actually wanted 12:00 but was told 12:15.She then tried to get us in and a cook berated her in such a demeaning way it was terrible, embarrasing and uncomfortable! He yelled at her that he would not accommodate us (reservations and all) .We got up and left. That is not how you treat employees and not what a customer wants to hear, especially choosing YOUR restaurant for their special birthday meal.Shame on this place.
