đ¨ EVERYONE BEWARE !!!! đ¨Absolutely unacceptable!!!! I had one of the worst food experiences of my life at this Sonic location 913 Pleasant Grove Blvd, Roseville, CA and I need to warn others.
On August 6, 2025, I placed a Order through the Sonic app for pickup. What I got in that bag was disgusting.
The chicken sandwich was cold, undercooked, and had a foul smell like it had been sitting out for hours or wasnât properly stored. The meat looked partially thawed and wasnât even fully cooked. It was so bad I took a high-res photo of it to document just how unsafe it looked.
there the mozzarella sticks were also stone cold inside, with unmelted cheese that felt like it had barely been warmed up, if at all. This shows complete negligence in food prep, storage, and basic hygiene. Itâs like nobody there cared at all.
After eating part of the meal, I started feeling nauseous and had stomach issues symptoms that are consistent with foodborne illness. If theyâre serving food like this to other customers, itâs only a matter of time before someone gets seriously sick.
Iâve already filed complaints with Placer County Environmental Health and the California Department of Public Health, and included photos of the food and the receipt.
This location needs to be inspected and held accountable. Sonic should be ashamed of this level of carelessness. Iâll never eat here again, and I strongly recommend others stay far away from this place

Ridiculously long wait and no way to pay.
The screen was blank the whole time. Nothing came up on the screen to pay. I was given a total but no way to pay. I had no idea if my food was even being prepared since I didnât pay for anything. People who came and ordered after me were served first. Eventually I had to order again to ask what I was supposed to do. They said someone would come and I could give them my card or cash.
It wasnât that busy. The stalls were mostly empty and the drive thru had plenty of moments where no one was going through.
It took 25 mins to get my food. I couldâve gone and sat down at a restaurant , paid the same amount, and been served faster.

Service is very hit or miss. Sometimes they are very friendly and helpful and everything is awesome, other times they donât acknowledge you, barely listen to your order and make everything so sloppy or barely any ingredients. This place has potential if management would get the team on the same page.

The fries & tots are tasty & crispy. The burgers are huge and good. But we all know the real reason we come to Sonic - THE SLUSHIES!!! They are out of this world amazing. So many flavors and so many add in ingredients you can't go wrong!!! Love Sonic â¤ď¸ đ

I saw what looked like a manager yelling at two other employees during some type of meeting. Always rubs me the wrong way to see managers mistreat the ones doing the actual work

This used to be a place I was excited to go to on the occasion I happened to be over in the Roseville area, but tonight was just a terrible experience.
First I ordered my food on the mobile app. It told me to go find a stall and then enter the number of the stall. So I parked in one and to the left outside the driver's side window there was a number, so I entered that. Sorry, that number is unavailable (there was a car to my left, maybe they used that number?). Then I used the number that was ahead of my car to the right next to the other vehicle's driver's side window. Sorry, that number is ALSO unavailable. I went to an empty spot, and both numbers I can see were being used somehow?
So then the app says if I want to pick it up on foot that I should walk to the window. There is no window to walk up to! And not only that, we are getting a crowd of people at the one door that employees are coming in and out of trying to deliver food.
And the sidewalk area outside of the building is sticky with spilled drinks, so I got to bring THAT into my car, which was fantastic..
To top it off, there was another guy waiting there that was saying he'd been sitting at a spot for a good 30 minutes before his food arrived, and it arrived cold.
I don't think I will ever come to this location again. It's just not worth the drive anymore.

We waited in the drive thru for about 20 minutes with at least 15 of those minutes being spent just sitting at the window because they had a mix up with orders. That happens and is totally understandable, however, there was a huge lack of communication and when there was some it was rude. The guy at the window barely said more than 10 words to us in that whole 15 minutes of us sitting there waiting for some information. We ended up just driving away and not even getting food there because the service was so bad. Would not recommend going here.
