After looking online for a sushi restaurant between auburn-Folsom and Douglas I happened to find Sumo Sushi a tasteful decorative restaurant with Japanese style art work and 50% off sushi rolls. I met with my husband for lunch and it was our first time. We ordered two rolls with a hot tea and miso soup. Rolls were decent size and delicious. Very nice place & great atmosphere. The people who work there take great pride in everything they do. From bussing tables, taking your order, greeting you as you come inside & last but not least is the way the food is presented to us customers is A1! I am from N. California, we will be back!!
Honestly, it’s a great sushi place. Just a little expensive with small portions. But they have a diverse menu and a clean atmosphere. Unassuming from the outside. We were positive where the restaurant was, but we immediately got a table and had our orders taken. It was late at night and they were very hospitable and quick to please.
