1st and last time. Just drive down to Cool tea Bar if you want a good drink. Milk tea flavor was SUPER LIGHT. wayyyy to much ice even when you ask for light ice. Most of my drink was foam from them shaking and I feel like I was ripped off. Taro was also light and mostly milk.
I went in today to get a mango smoothie, only for it to be just blended ice. I was expecting a milk smoothie for the 9 dollars I paid as well as 2 hours being left for open and they didn’t have regular boba and it’s not the first time for this boba shop to not have boba.
Came here for the first time after getting a shot next door, some of the BEST boba I've had! The milk tea tasted fantastic, the boba had just the right texture, not to mention how welcoming the atmosphere was! The worker was lovely and service was 10/10, would recommend!
I got their red bean smoothie yesterday that was really good
I ordered three drinks from this boba shop through Uber Eats, and unfortunately, I was really disappointed. All three drinks were extremely flavorless. I specifically asked for light ice, but almost half of each cup was filled with ice, leaving even less drink to enjoy. I ordered the Brown Sugar Boba and the Flaming Crème Brûlée, but both just tasted like plain milk with barely any sweetness or flavor. For the price, it definitely wasn’t worth it. Sadly, I don’t recommend this place.
I love this place! Their staff is friendly and their drinks are amazing!
Boba was really warm when we asked for no ice on of the drinks. Have always asked for no ice sometimes and it was not this hot. Also tasted different, we put 100% sweet like every other time but maybe it’s because it’s a new worker. Been always the go to boba since last year but honestly sorry it’s been tasting bad and different now.
They are so expensive I got 2 small boba tea 1 large and chicken for almost 40 bucks and I am attaching pic . Crazy
We love this place! Sweetea has so many drink options and sweet/salty snacks. The creamy taro is super smooth and rich, and the watermelon summer is perfect for a hot day. Also obsessed with all the snacks! The takoyaki, fried chicken, and tempura shrimp are sooo good. Great spot to chill and grab a treat. Also great place for pictures.
Must try
It feels and tastes like they're using good ingredients.
Everything we tried so far, tasted great, whether you like sweet and creamy or light and fruity. Great job! Hopefully Sweetea grows to add many more locations.

I went here last night and was very disappointed. There was a lady, she was actually rude to us and had a nasty tone in her voice. We were respectful and nice to her and understand she was the only one working at the time. Not only that, the drink i got was a small honeydew milk tea. I do not recommend this drink. It straight up tasted like Ice water with a hint of honeydew. My sister also got a earl grey milk tea which also tasted like Ice water. We believe she sabotaged our drinks because we came in at 845pm. Next time close early instead of being rude for showing up 15minute before closing. What a waste of $14. Bad service. Bad drink. Try a different boba place instead!
Great boba tea and other drinks. We've tried a lot of places around Roseville, this is our favorite!
Most helpful worker. Very clean and smells good.
yummers
I stopped by Sweetea for a quick drink and had a mixed experience. First off, parking was a breeze, which is always a plus. The shop is located in a large shopping center with plenty of other stores around, making it a convenient stop if you’re running errands.
When I walked in, there were no other customers, so I was helped right away. The menu was straightforward and easy to navigate. I was in the mood for a strong tea-based drink, so I asked the cashier which option had the boldest tea flavor. To my surprise, she honestly told me that none of their teas were particularly strong. I really appreciated her transparency—it’s rare for employees to be that upfront, and it saved me from getting my hopes too high.
The interior of the store was clean, well-decorated, and had a nice ambiance. It felt like a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a drink if I had more time. I decided to order a large Oolong Milk Tea with Crystal Boba and light ice. Unfortunately, the drink itself was underwhelming. The oolong tea flavor was quite mild—almost watered down—which was disappointing since I was specifically looking for something with a bold tea taste. The Crystal Boba had a nice texture, but it couldn’t make up for the lackluster tea base.
Overall, Sweetea has a pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff, but the drinks themselves are just average. If you prefer a stronger tea flavor, this may not be the place for you. However, if you enjoy lighter milk teas and a comfortable spot to relax, it might be worth a try.
