My hubby and I and my son went to Tahoe Joe's to celebrate our anniversary. The dinner was fabulous! The Joe's stake was so tender, I had the prime rib and it was delicious! The salad was good, and the baked potato was delicious it was covered in bacon and sour cream, and we had fresh rolls. I highly recommend the restaurant! The service was also good!

This place always hits the spot when we come up to visit because they do takeout so we'll. I always get porkchops with mashed potatoes no gravy and rice and it never disappoints! This time I got a side of spinach artichoke dip and I loved it so much and the rolls are always good and come with the meal. Overall this place I recommend to everyone and wish they had more locations since where we moved there isn't one. So good! (:

The steak was not flavorful and wasn't cooked right, twice. I have up after that. My son said his burger was good though. The drinks were satisfying. As well as the crab cake. The atmosphere was outdated and looked like it needed a deep cleaning. Don't think I'll be trying it again.

Love this place! The food is great and not too expensive. Very quaint and warm interior. The only reason for four stars instead of five is that they're a bit short-staffed, which unfortunately causes service to suffer a bit, though the staff is very friendly and never stop hustling. Once people start going back to work again, I'll revisit; I'm sure they'll be back up to five-star service in no time!

Went in for dinner with family from out of State Monday, May 5th. Food was 4 star good and I definitely recommend. Try the pulled pork sandwich! I do want to mention, our family arrived before us and asked if they could be seated. The hostess said no as the whole party hadn't arrived and wouldn't budge. There was no one in the restaurant. Like dead. Come on Tahoe Joes-flexibility. The reason for the 5 stars is solely due to our server Amanda. She was polite, engaging and extremely thorough. I mean she didn't miss a beat and having worked in the hospitality industry I know excellent customer service. I think we can all agree great service has been a dying commodity and nearly non existent since Covid hit. TJ's, give Amanda a high five and a gift card. She's a keeper!

It has been a while since I have eaten here and unlike the past times the food and service was great. I was told that they have been under new owners for a few months now. You can tell! Everything was great! Our waitress Amanda was amazing and so friendly! My wife and I will definitely make this one of our date night spot. If you haven't been here in a while, it's worth checking it out again!!

Disgusting- terrible service, long wait, terrible food, dirty tables with missing lament/ varnish, smelled like a first movie theatre, flickering lights as you enter. Please do not spend your hard earned money here. Not even if they gave me free food would I ever return.

Came to Tahoe Joes excite to introduce my family to a place I've enjoyed going to living in the east bay and visiting the concord location. We recently moved to the area and I was telling my wife that place is delicious. Reflecting back on my experiences from the location in Concord. Finally we pull the trigger and decide on Tahoe Joes for dinner. I was too lazy to prep dinner after a long day of work. We were seated immediately upon walking in. Hostess was kind and welcoming. That was about the best part of our visit. We have a one year old and 3 year old. Rarely do we get an opportunity to dine out. It took quite a bit for us to even get our orders in. We were seated in a busy section and it seemed like there was just the one server. We ordered nachos with chicken and the onion strings. Nachos were blah and onion strings were prepared and delivered to our table as if it was the scraps leftover in the fry basket. We also ordered the chicken pot pie soup which we asked to come first but ended up coming 20 minutes after the nachos and onion strings. The soup was not hot. Was clumpy, and over seasoned. My kids love soup but they didn't like this one. Another 30 minutes pass and finally our entrees come. Mind you. A 1 year old and 3 year old in a restaurant. Trying to keep them entertained while we wait for our food was a challenge. I had the pork chops. My recollection of this dish is a single double cut thick chop. I got two 1/4 inch thick chops. They were rubbery and tasted as if it had a pinch of bleach for seasoning on them. Just strange and nasty. Not like the old days where the chop had that wonderful Smokey flavor, tender and juicy. These things were nasty. I ate maybe a third of one chop and couldn't stomach it any longer. Luckily they took it off the bill after my wife complained on my behalf that it wasn't good. I normally am not one to complain but I was nauseated from the taste and couldn't eat any more of it. My stomach wasn't having it. It was just a bad experience overall and will not likely return to the establishment that I once enjoyed. Sad to see that were consistently good go to the pits.

My birthday was made absolutely magical by the exemplary and expert services of Timothy. He knew every permutation of drinks to be ordered and was exceptionally considerate when we were both ordering food and boxing up our left overs. He's the absolute reason we're planning on going back.

Called to make reservation was told they don't do reservation we were going to be party of 8 so thought I was being curtious. We went and walked in and only 6 people showed up and I let them know I had called day before for 8 but we are only 6 and they said we would need to wait as they just seated 2 large groups. As we are waiting, someone comes in and said I made a reservation for 8 and we are all here. They got seated before we did. Thought they didn't do reservations?

Normally we come for the happy hour cause the food and prices never fail. But this time we decided to sit down and have dinner and I asked for a medium rare steak and was given the most flat dried out steak ever. And I maybe took 2 bites of it, and im not one to normally complain to the waiter/waitress but I had practically a full steak on my plate and the waitress didn't happen to ask if everything came out to our likings needless to say I definitely won't order a steak again
