We love everything about this place - been coming here for years and will always come back. Every few weeks, it starts calling our name! Never a bad day/meal.

😞 All 0+ blood type individuals shouldn't eat pepper. Do your own research.

Great place. I usually fill a growler every Friday for the weekend, excellent beer. If you want to sit, the food is pretty great too...duck fat fries, the best!

Dropped in for a beer with friends. It was Wednesday night and they were hosting a trivia night. Sat and the bar and got fantastic service and enjoyed playing trivia. I did not eat this visit but they have amazing food to enjoy as well.

Cool look inside with all the wood. Good beers. The monk burger was great. Very attentive and friendly staff. Would eat here again.

Took 45 minutes to get our food on a Saturday late afternoon. Ordered the Shepherds Pie, light on cheese - it came out covered in cheese & the waitress said to just scrape the cheese off. The Shepherds Pie was supposed to have garlic mashed potatoes on top - the mashed potatoes were extremely bland with no hint of garlic or any seasoning including salt & pepper. The meat mixture was equally bland and lacking of any flavor. The dish was inedible and let the server know. I literally had 2 bites, yet was still charged for the dish. In addition, there was no offer to make it right by offering a meal replacement. While the beer was good and scotch eggs were delicious, I would stick to those items and maybe try their sandwiches. Extremely disappointing food and service.

Great variety of beer and food that goes well with the beer. Had a delicious Scottish egg for an appetizer and traditional fish & chips for the main course. The service was attentive & friendly without being intrusive.

My wife and I treated ourselves to dinner out at Monk's Cellar Friday night. Our 2nd time dining there and, once again, we were not disappointed! This dining spot is very casual and much bigger inside than it appears from the outside. We started with two "London Porters" which were very tasty. They brew their own beer here. My wife ordered the "Fish & Chips" and advised our waitress that they were the best she has ever eaten. I indulged in the "Monk's Burger" which was especially enjoyable. The meat (a blend of short rib, brisket, and chuck) comes from the nearby Roseville Meat Market. Our waitress, Morgan, who always had a big smile and checked on us several times did an outstanding job! All in all, looking forward to our "3rd visit" in the near future!

Our server Morgan was super! Very greatful for such a nice establishment and pleasant high quality service two Fridays in a row!

Super food, drinks and service and got us out on time to see a show next door with a large party of 8. Thank you for the excellent service

Amazing food, beer and wine. We had the mussels, Caesar salad, Mac n cheese, Belgian dubbel which were excellent. For our birthday celebration, they gave us Belgian waffle and ice cream on the house! Thank you!

Very tasteless fish and chips! Could not taste any beer in the batter. Aïoli mayonnaise was flavorless as was the tartar sauce. We've had much better fish and chips elsewhere. And the coleslaw also needed a lot of work. But the beer was tasty!

Monks has always been our go to lunch spot. Unfortunately they took the Rueban off of the menu. Tried the Croque Monsuier. It was soggy and disappointing. May go back when the rueben is back.
