Dropped in for a beer with friends. It was Wednesday night and they were hosting a trivia night. Sat and the bar and got fantastic service and enjoyed playing trivia. I did not eat this visit but they have amazing food to enjoy as well.
Great variety of beer and food that goes well with the beer. Had a delicious Scottish egg for an appetizer and traditional fish & chips for the main course. The service was attentive & friendly without being intrusive.
My wife and I treated ourselves to dinner out at Monk's Cellar Friday night. Our 2nd time dining there and, once again, we were not disappointed! This dining spot is very casual and much bigger inside than it appears from the outside. We started with two "London Porters" which were very tasty. They brew their own beer here.
