The Old Spaghetti Factory

We visited The Old Spaghetti Factory in Roseville to celebrate our daughter’s 15th birthday, a place she personally chose because we’ve had decent experiences here in the past. Unfortunately, this visit was extremely disappointing and turned a special evening into a frustrating one. We spent $119.30, but the level of service did not come close to matching that. After our food was delivered, our server, Anna, never returned to check on us. We were not offered water, drink refills, or even asked how our meals were. My daughter ordered a drink and was never checked on for a refill. When my two-year-old son needed water after eating, I asked our server for water, but she never came back. We eventually had to ask another server just to get water. What made this especially frustrating was watching our server walk by our table multiple times while actively serving surrounding tables. At one point, she even took time to show something on her phone to guests at another table, while we couldn’t get basic necessities like water or straws. My wife later spoke with the manager on duty, Jason, hoping the situation would be handled with some care. Unfortunately, his response lacked empathy and concern. There was no apology or attempt to make the situation right, which only added to the disappointment. This was supposed to be a birthday celebration, and instead it left us frustrated and let down. Given that this was not our first time dining here, the experience was even more surprising. We hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves both service standards and how guest concerns are handled.

The food was alright, nothing crazy. BUTTTTTTT, I told them it was my girlfriends birthday and they forgot to sing. Most everyone forgot about her birthday and this place was no different. They sung to other people to the side of us. Ouch

The parking lot is so full that it is a chore to find a decently close spot. The entrance is beautiful. We were seated immediately but only if we sat in the train car. That was fine. The spicy sauces are meaty and hearty. The bread is good and included. The meals also come with salad and ice cream. My berringer cabernet was surprisingly wonderful. The pasta is always cooked perfect. My husband lives the mizithra broccoli. That is all that he wants. So good! The staff were slow to find us. It took a while to order drinks. They did not check on us ever.

There was some kind of plastic in my pasta. Looks like it was cooked plastic or something

it was all right to be honest price was fair options was good I was happy but it wasn't a high class place but they do good for what it is

It's the only place I know that serves pasta with burnt butter and mizithra cheese - a favorite! The service is great and the atmosphere is fun. Great place for a family birthday celebration.

I'm here once a year on vacation for a local event, every time its an actual Riot.

Waiter was not very happy to help with our questions and seemed to be short with us. The food was good, portions were rather small for the price, and after our meal my friend asked for a sinor discount and we were told there is a senior menu. I still wouldn't call that a discount due to the fact the portion as well as the price is cut roughly in half. Other than that the place seemed clean and friendly. The location of hwy50 was way better from what I remember, but that was also close to 15 years ago....
