A group of 10 of us just went here for our work dinner & we all loved it! All the appetizers were good especially the Bruschetta. My main pasta course was great & I loved the lemon cake. So good! We just moved to Vernon Street & we will definitely be going back! Awesome having this on our new street. Also the service was really good! Rebecca did great keeping everything running smoothly. Very attentive for a really busy restaurant! Can’t wait to go back & try something else:) Highly recommend this place!

First off, love the food and used to love The Place! Unfortunately, we went for dinner before a show last weekend and they refused to seat us even though we had a reservation! There were plenty of open tables and no reason was given as to why they wouldn't seat us. Contacted the manager by email and received no resolution. I won't spend money at a restaurant that is rude and refuses to apologize.

Had a wonderful dinner at The Place. You definitely need reservations if you plan on going on a Friday or Saturday evening. The place was packed. They had a gentleman playing music and singing Italian songs. And the food and service was excellent. I highly recommend the polenta fries and Mikey’s Big Balls are good too.

A quaint cozy old town Roseville Italian restaurant with live entertainment reminiscent of Frank Sinatra coupled with, for this evening a delightful and service professional premiere.
But the good news ends there.
We travel to Italy and consider Italian cuisine one of our favorites with a considerable tolerance for variation. However the risotto this evening tasted of cheap bottle of Marcela with a strong vinegar taste. The chicken Alfredo? Chicken was well prepared but the sauce was as bland as white bread.
The carbonara was not bad, but mediocre in flavors.
Then the last part being unacceptable…
A BOH charge of $5?
Since when was it acceptable to automatically adding a tip for the cooks?
We won’t be back.

Aw man, I use to love the pizza at this place. Quality of the pizza went down and the price skyrocketed. I get rising cost of food and ingredients. Not worth the money, the inside is very nice though

Everything here is excellent and it's not overpriced. Margarita pizza is very good. Caesar salad was perfect. Bruschetta looks amazing

Celebrated a friend's birthday here. The food was outstanding! I had the chicken piccatta and my friend had the rice/shrimp dish. The server/waitress was by herself and did the best she could. We felt bad for her. We had to wait for the bread and had to remind her. If they had more help, this easily would be a higher rating. Overall, I would return.
Parking: Parking garage very close to the restaurant.

Really great place, we love everything we get whenever we're able to make it here. It seems to be very lightly staffed so be ready for a bit of a wait but trust when people say it's worth it! The staff is so nice and helpful and the food is just amazing!

The Real Deal is The Place, top to bottom a solid Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was a true Italian setting with an inside and outside feel all inside of a one indoor space. The service was pretty good, keeping drinks full slowed towards the end of meal service. Now onto the main event, The Food, started with the Brushette that was well-rounded with fresh mozzarella cheese only needed a bit more of the tomato blend on top 8 out 10. I had a Chicken Marsala with homemade noddles which was amazing 9 out 10 only reason it wasn’t a 10/10 was I wish for a bit more of the amazing flavoring/zest on the chicken. Another dished sampled was Clams e Linguine with prawns 10/10 best clams linguine I have ever tasted, amazing flavor and fresh ingredients. Each meal served with delicious bread and oils. Must try!!!

Junk fees. Reservations never on time. $17 drinks. $37 pasta. Owner is gouging people. Not going again.
Stopped in for lunch with my daughter; I had never been there before and it looked nice & cozy from the outside. Pleasantly rewarded with one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten! My daughter is a light eater and usually only has 1 slice but she had 3? I'm a foodie and looked around the other tables and could see that the dishes were comparable to our pizza. The host was very pleasant and the atmosphere is authentic without over doing it. I'd easily recommend to anyone.

Fresh authentic food! Linguine with clams was the best, brusetta appetizer and canalloni for dessert. Waitress disappeared halfway thru the meal, but otherwise perfect, would visit again
