Well, My Experience was Great!I think it was the best Miso soup I have had in a Japanese Restaurant in years.Funny thing, is the gal that waited on me said she made it. Let me tell youI know good Miso soup. My judgment of Japanese restaurants is basedon the soup; and then I go from there.I would definitely recommend this place. It was an accident thatI went there today; as didn't even know it was there. I drove by it;and my stomach pains occurred right then. lolWhat a pleasant surprise! I will be back again.Thank you very much.Maria

Mediocre offerings. Overpriced. Snarky waitress. Wouldn't waste time or money here. Many items on the menu not available.

Server was great, but the food was okay and expensive. There are so many sushi options out there, we probably won't be

Peter and Janet do an outstanding job of putting the customers and the food first. The fish is always fresh, the conversation among all the regulars and folks that are "in the know" Is always good and friendly. Don't trust the Google hours though, only open til 8 not 9:30. Trust in Peter and Janet to take care of you!

Very disappointing. We had frequented this place since it opened and loved it. We returned post covid to a different place. We tried to order hot sake which we were told was not available tonight and then asked about cold sake where waitress was unable to tell us anything about the style. (just asked if dry or medium!) Then we ordered the wasabi house (Chef special)i, 16 piece sashimi and another roll. Sashimi was thinly sliced and not very flavorful. Wasabi house chef special was soggy and unimpressive. When we asked the chef/owner to describe what was in the roll, he dismissed us and was very vague. Dismissive, to be honest. Our bill was $100 for a less than enjoyable evening. Disinterested wait staff, mediocre food. Don't waste your time, there are many better sushi options in the area.

This place is not too bad. Mikuni was packed so decided to go with this since I wanted sushi. It was actually better because I was not about the crowd that day. Had the Godzilla and volcano rolls they were good. Staff were helping and friendly. Would recommend.

I waited a week to write this to make sure I wasn't just writing This out of anger. The review say the male owner is a very nice guy, never got a chance to meet him he was on the other side of the wall by the bar where the Fun was going On. We got seated After a couple minutes, After 5 or so minutes A lady come over and Gave us menus which we looked at Picked out what we wanted to eat and drink So when she came back over we were ready. We ordered 2 beers and proceeded to order our food We ordered 2 beers and proceeded to order our food. The owner's wife had a response of oh you guys must be in a hurry, Which we said we're not in a hurry but we didn't come here to eat. She said it would be at least 45 minutes before food would be available. We only ordered 3 sushi rolls. We asked why it would be so long and she said That's just how long it takes. She said the regular people that eat here are used to it and they don't mind waiting that long. So we paid for our beers and we left.

Terrible experience and will not return. With a name like "Wasabi" you would think that their wasabi would taste like, well, wasabi! The crab in the Spider Roll was old and tasted questionable..one bite and left the rest. If the other sushi rolls we ordered, none of them tasted fresh. Far too many great options for sushi in the area.

The novelty menu is attractive to some but as a first timer it was a bit of a challenge to weed through all the weird names for their collections of sushi. Overall the food was satisfactory. My one complaint was that the rice for the sushi was warm.

Hubby and I went here when a popular sushi place had an hour wait. Food was great, was calm enough environment that we could talk and enjoy being out w/o our kids. Though they do welcome kids. Great service and she made wonderful recommendations. Thank you!

Our family has been going here for dinner more than 20 years. The food is wonderful! If you want something off the menu, they provide. Service is slow now, but remember this time we are in. Service is slow everywhere. Our eldest son takes his children. Three generations now enjoying this cuisine! We stopped after my musical performance on a Sunday evening fully expecting to be turned away (it was 8 PM). Maybe because we knew them, but they let us dine in. We knew exactly what we wanted and that also helped! If you don't think it's great, try again, service is not a reason in these times to complain. This is a wonderful, family-owned business I'm so glad has been with us and hope they last another 20+ years!

Really wish we'd picked another restaurant. We've been to a few other Sushi places that we've enjoyed but decided to try this one. Service was horrendous. I don't know how they stay in business. And the food is MUCH better elsewhere. It didn't taste fresh, and I felt a little sick afterwards. I bet they stay in business from the overflow from Mikuni's and from people who just don't know what good sushi tastes like.
