We usually have a great experience here but unfortunately not today. Food was late from the time promised (takeout order). When we got home, we discovered that one item was wrong, the ice cream that came with my son's children's meal was tipped over and spilling out of the container so there was melted ice cream all over the bag, and one of the two other entrees was made sloppily and was falling apart. We normally love Zocalos but the service and food quality wasn't up to their usual standard today.

There is inside dining, outside dining, a bar you can dine at, and and more private dining areas of the restaurant. The food was great and service was very friendly and professional. Parking was very difficult, so take some extra time to find a parking spot. Very nice dining and trendy, upbeat, younger crowd.

Just went to the Roseville location with my wife. We were seated quickly because it was NOT busy land then sat there for 15 mins and no one but the viewer came by. He dropped off chips and water and we never saw a server. We left and the hostess that seated us said “have a great night” and we said no one waited on us so we’re leaving. Her response was “oh”….. very disappointed and won’t be back. As a former restaurant manager I understand things happen but this was ridiculous.

Despite a very busy night at the restaurant our party was seated just before our reservation time. There was great service from our main server and their team of servers who helped him bring stuff to the table. We've dined here for years and it's been a while since our last visit due to the lackluster food and service we experienced before. We decided to try it again and I'm happy to share the food quality, presentation and service was back to where we knew it could be.

Service was excellent. Main food items were good. Wasn’t a big fan of the rice needed more flavor or beans. I prefer pinto beans rather than black beans. Their salsa was really good.
Super busy night and it was 20 min wait with a reservation. But they honored happy hour prices due to the late seating abcs have a complimentary starter. Love the service , food and ambiance but the music was so loud we could hardly have a conversation. Overall, it's always good!

Delicious food! I ordered the salmon bowl and it was delectable! I will definitely be ordering that dish again. I love the free chips and sauce they give as an appetizer for everyone. The blackberry margarita was also very good and I highly recommend!
