"Wow" my compliments all around. The Carnitas burrito bowl was very flavorful. De La Casa and Blackberry margaritas are yummy ?. Will be back for sure.

Out of town salesman and needed a quick lunch. General manager approached couple next to me at the bar and spent a few minutes aggressively accusing them of taking alcohol off the property last visit. The customer was upset and said there’s a way to handle this and this isn’t it. I have to agree. The general manager was very aggressive and was actually crowding me at this point. Training needed. Food is solid.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at Zocalo in the Fountains. They sat my daughter and I in a back room with wobbly tables and a TV on the wall, like we were in some awkward add on room meant for rejects. Talk about putting baby in the corner. I understand that it was a busy Friday night but I would have been happier at the bar. Then when we ordered food they forgot out utensils so we could eat for at least 10 minutes. When I finally tasted my tacos de cazuela it tasted completely different than I had had it before. It was always my favorite dish, but this time it tasted like tomato sauce, they were scant on the rice and filled the plate with mostly beans, and on top of that it was not plated well. I have always loved going to Zocalo, its been a family favorite for years, but this was so disappointing and I probably will not go back.

Jordyn was the one who served my mother, sister and myself. As someone who has been in the industry for ten years, this young lady hit every service standard imaginable. Attitude, attention to detail, genuine comfort and care for the consumer. Good service makes a difference in people's days, weeks, and general life. You made my mom's birthday special, thank you!

We are from out of town and randomly found this place while searching online for Mexican dining.Upon arriving, the place was hopping! We didn't mind waiting the 45 min wait they told us for a table, especially after scoring seats at the bar.The bartender was fabulous ? wish I would have asked her name to give her a shout-out! Despite being so busy, she was very patient, helpful, and knowledgeable about the drinks ? & liquor available.Without even finishing our one drink, we were called for an available table. It had only been 10 min max. We were excited until we found out where they seated us. In the back there is a room and when we entered everyone in there was a family with young children. Children were crying, banging on tables and running around. It was not awesome, to say the least. Our party consisted of three adults. No kids. So why they put us back there when many other seats were available is beyond me. ?Our waitress came to our table shortly after. She was fabulous ? I inquired as to why we would be seated in this room, but she was a waitress, not a hostess, so she didn't know. Between the loud atmosphere and kids screaming and banging on tables, we were basically yelling to be able to hear each other. It was terrible.Food was good ? service from food staff was great! Overall, we'd try one more time bit this time specifying we're adults and would prefer not to be in a room full of kids at 8pm @ night.

Very good Mexican food and tasty drinks with fresh ingredients. The only downside is it is often very loud inside. The outdoor patio is usually where I prefer to eat.

The food here was fantastic. Our group of 4 all had different tacos and they didn't disappoint. The shrimp was easily the best. Steak was good just not nearly as good as the shrimp. Service was fast and very good. A little loud so be prepared for that, but overall it was really very good.

My friend & I only get together every 3 months! We only go to Zocolos at the Fountains , we only get fish tacos , wine , & sometimes dessert! We always have soooooo much news to get caught up on & the waiters or waitresses are ALWAYS BEYOND AMAZING..accommodating., fun, thoughtful, efficient, personal, & the reason we each travel 45 mins to get there‼️We have NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED IN THE MANY YEARS WE'VE BEEN MAKING IT OUR DESTINATION ‼️3/6/2024

Probably the best Italian food in Folsom. Maybe add in Granite Bay. Only "The Place" in Roseville is close in quality.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible, just like everywhere in CA.

We were treated good, but it was sort of quick because we had no waiter, it was a manager or assistant manager that was helping us. It felt rushed and she forgot drinks a few times we had to repeat what we wanted. But mostly what was off was the food. We are regular customers at Zocalo and we most of the time enjoy the food. This time the food was bland, no flavor to it unfortunately which was surprising.
