Adorable place very friendly servers a bit expensive for the full tea service but worth it for special occasions. You can also order a sandwich or something smaller. The scones are delicious.

Love this special spot with accommodating hostess with the mostess and tasty treats served with style + your favorite pot of Tea! Lovely idea for birthday or special occasion. You can wear your fascinator or hat, too! We had the classic. high Tea with a split of champagne and we are coming back next week! Take your fave gal pal, your Mom, Auntie, Colleague, Niece of any age and create a wonderful memory together!

When I first heard that we were going to Crown and Crumpet for afternoon tea, I was not sure that I would enjoy it (I am more of a surf and turf guy). But, since it was my daughter's birthday party, I went along. Am I glad that I did. The garden setting for afternoon tea was cozy and beautiful. The two pots of tea that we ordered were above our expectations; so flavorful and refreshing. The afternoon tea came with finger sandwiches, scone, crumpet, and sweet treats. The crumpet was a bit chewy, but the other foods were wonderfully made and tasted so good; especially loved the scone, so light and yummy when paired with the homemade spread. The best experience from the visit, though, was the service. We felt welcome. Everyone was friendly and making efforts to help give us a wonderful experience. Absolutely a good reason for a repeat visit.

A bit expensive, but worth it for a special occasion. Chicken pot pie is a winner. Service is friendly, and location is lovely.

My Dad took my mom, my cousin and I here in November. The food and service were both great and the experience was fun. It is pretty spendy but we all left full and I will go back again!

I would say this is a 3.5 star review This is a review for a Christmas time advent tea, we had both adult and kids teas at the Ross location. I was very impressed with their reservation and follow up system. They specifically asked on the phone for adult/kids and dietary preferences. Imagine my surprise when that information somehow didn't make it into our reservation, nor did the server take notice after we reminded her. For the vegetarian in the group, this meant that they couldn't eat two of the offerings. It was very busy and it felt like they had overbooked or they were lacking a server. We weren't shy to flag them down. When you did get someone to help you, they were extremely nice. We were seated inside, and the bench seating was not great. Narrow with gaps between the seating cushions to Manöver and so many throw pillows that it was difficult to fit. For the food, the tea was delicious. I was disappointed that they did not offer to order one tea per person but made us share. Maybe the table would've been too small to have more teapots, but it didn't feel like sharing was the spirit of the menu. The food was mostly as advertised, it was missing lemon curd, which was a bummer because that's usually a staple. The scones were the highlight. So delicious. I thought that it didn't look like a lot of food, but since we weren't able to finish it all. it was just enough!. I was a little underwhelmed by the $48 kids tea there was just not enough food for my eight year old. Also, in comparison to what they were serving the adults, it seemed basic and the kids only wanted to eat our stuff. All in all, it was a fun experience, but was a bit too pricey for us for the offering. We will be supporting this little place with the occasional coffee and pastry run.

I booked the $48 jr. holiday tea for my 11 year old and her friend. when I arrived I checked them in. When it was time to pay after the girls had their tea, they charged me $168 for two. I was shocked! I asked why that price tripled if I had reserved and confirmed the $48 jr. tea for 11 and under . They claimed that they gave the kids the menu and they chose the higher priced tea service. Why would you have even given them a menu when I as the adult reserved the junior tea price ahead of time and confirmed it three times with Lisa who took my reservation. It felt like a complete money grab and completely unprofessional and unnecessary. What is the point of a reservation. I was very unhappy with this situation and suggest that they change the way holiday reservations are handled snd are transparent from the start. Rhonda

The food was great. It was more than enough. We got the Christmas tea and peach Bellini's. The plum tea and cinnamon was awesome. Ambience was perfect but the best part was Natalie our server! Plus she had the coolest accent that accompanied the quaint atmosphere! Thank you Natalie! We bought some scones to enjoy later.

Totally disappointed that I made a reservation and requested indoor seating, confirmed my reservation when requested, drive 45 minutes to get there only to be told indoor seating was not available. Unacceptable! Fix your reservation program so if you cannot meet a request that you notify in advance to someone that you cannot accommodate their request... I would not have spent all the time coming to your restaurant if I had known you could not accommodate my indoor seating request..bah humbug from me

Three girlfriends and I had an excellent first time birthday luncheon celebration at Crown and Crumpet and it's beyond stupendous. We will definitely be back! Our waitress, Natalie, was the perfect hostess/server/singer! The food was beautifully prepared and the presentation of each amazing dish was so delightful. We had so much food leftover we needed to box it up to take home. We were even offered beautiful Crown and Crumpet to go cups for our leftover teas we ordered. Just before getting ready to leave Natalie presented our guest of honor with a darling cupcake decorated for the festive occasion, a candle to make a wish .... all accompanied by a duet off Happy Birthday. The curry salad was delicious, the scones and crumpet like nothing else we've ever had. The lemon curd, strawberry jam and butter was sooooooo scrumptious. The service, the excellent food and the incredible attention to deal made our lunch celebration so special it brought our guest of honor to tears (of joy, of course).

We had a delicious high tea which included an array of sweet little sandwiches as well warm scones and fresh crumpets with pots of delicious berry jam and clotted cream spread. In addition we tried the tasty fresh baked chicken pot pie with a flaky crust. The petit desserts were a perfect finish with the Paris blend black tea. The service was good - we will return!

What a wonderful experience in every way! Nine of us traveled from Auburn (between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe) for the afternoon tea, and to a person, we were all delighted. The food was delicious, the selection of teas was unexpected and amazing, and the service was friendly and professional. Admittedly, we were a bit greedy with the house-made lemon curd, but they didn't roll an eye. The patio was perfect for a large group, and we never felt rushed. I truly can't wait to return.
