After our lunch meal at Tofu Bean Koren BBQ in Rowland Heights, we wanted to go have dessert. One of my youngest brother checked the surrounding area and found Coconut Jelly King just a block away. We drove on over to check them out. This was my first time visit. They specialize in coconut jelly with various topping in a jar. They also sell a few other specialty items such as durian crepe, waffle pancake, mango pomelo sago, young coconut, etc. I ended up ordering several different topping flavors... red bean, hazelnut chocolate, mango, taro, swallow nest, black sesame walnut, single coconut jelly. They come in a pretty good size glass jar that can be reused at home for storage. I had to try their durian crepe as I love durian anything LOL. I must have my king of fruits! And I wanted to try the mango pomelo sago.Single coconut jelly was light and not too sweet... it was very good! Mango pomelo sago was okay... mango pieces were not sweet and tapioca was a little firmer than I would have liked. Durian crepe was good, however, the durian was not smooth and custardy.Staff was okay. Interior was cute... it had some interesting wall art. Tables, chairs, and bar stools are available for seating. They have one all gender restroom in the back room. Prices are a tad high depending on the item. But if you haven't tried them, at least try them once. If it's worth it, then do splurge a little. You only live once. Btw, they also have a location in Alhambra if Rowland Heights is not close to you. I'll have to check out that location since I'm out that way most of the time. See you there!

This is my favorite place for mochi egg waffles. I don't think mochi egg waffles are sold elsewhere nearby. Most places have egg waffles but not with mochi filling. This place's egg waffles with mochi filling is so good that I keep coming back. Don't get me wrong, their coconut jello is good too, but the egg waffles with mochi filling is a hidden gem.

What a cute little dessert shop tucked away in a strip mall in Rowland/Hacienda Heights. The name of this store is regal, it's referring to the Qing Dynasty Emperor, Qian Long lol. They even put out a series of clay dolls resembling the Emperor, his Queen and also his Royal Consort. The one turned facing the other direction remains a mystery, but I'd venture to guess it's either a concubine or Palace Maid. This place is famous for their coconut jelly dessert. This dessert comes in a variety of flavors. I picked the one with mango toppings. Velvelty-smooth in texture and the mango chunks added a nice zing of flavor. They package the coconut jelly dessert in a glass jar and you can reuse it!

When it comes to coconut jelly, I've only had the ones at Melo Melo so when I saw Coconut Jelly King, I decided to give it a try.I decided to stop by and get some for the road. I decided to get two coconut jellies with durian and one with mango. I actually wanted to try some other stuff but their menu screen was off so I didn't know what else they offered. They give a really good amount of durian with their coconut jelly so I really loved it! Their coconut jelly did seem a bit more watery but I'm not sure if it's because I had it the next day or not. Maybe it's better the same day? The mango pieces they used were super ripe and yummy as well.Prices are about the same as Melo Melo so I think I would choose Coconut Jelly King for their durian coconut jelly! Would definitely be back!

It is good food for sure ! The store is cute and small , there is no music and stuff so it is kinda nice . However, the service can be better . The main woman there is very cold and a bit rude when you are asking her questions. I thought it was just a bad day but when other customer came in she changed her tone depending on who it was . So it wasn't a bad day just how she views people . The other guy was okay he was just chilling on his phone It just bit awkward in there so if I do come again I say best to take it to go . But the food is great

Its no Melo Melo, but close enough! We were told that the ones with fruit need to be eaten right away because they will not be good the following day. But with melo melo, their items were good up to three days so either this place's coconut jelly king is super fresh that it needs to be eaten right away or we came to purchase on the day when their items have been in display for two days already thats why it has to be eaten right away. We were also told not to put in the freezer since it will lose its consistency, and it will not taste the same. We were advice to put in the fridge because they need to be in a cooler environment since it was a hot day. The coconut jelly was very silky and we were told they use coconut juice. A lot of the items were also out so I couldn't try the one I really wanted to try. They also had pancakes like the mango pancake but that was also not available. They have free wifi.

The jelly was silky smooth, i haven’t tried a coconut dessert as soft as this one. Loved it!

3.5! Compared to melo melo, coconut jelly king is more solid and has more of a harder jello texture. So if you're into that, then you might prefer this one. I personally prefer a softer texture with some juices kind of like a grass jelly dessert.

We got the original egg waffle and a double coconut jelly! The egg waffle was really good but it wasn't anything special. As for the double coconut jelly...i think i just found my new favorite dessert of all time! The pudding was creamy/milky and the jelly at the bottom was very refreshing. The sweetness level was also perfect! The guy serving it was really nice as well :) Since everything is premade (pudding not waffle), the service was super quick. The ambience inside is super cute as well. There's a good amount of tables + bad for a little dessert spot. They also have an angel wing backdrop for you to take pics at.

The first time i saw a lot of water in coconut jelly, and water on the lid, looks like recycling, I'm not going to buy it again, very disappointed.

Taro Coconut Jello - 4/5Original Egg Waffle -5/5Service - 5/5Price - 3/5Dessert tasted amazing, but the price didn't meet at the same spot. $7-12 for a small jar of coconut jelly seemed excessive. However, I guess you are paying for the jar and unique product. I haven't had a coconut jelly dessert like this before, so it was worth the try. Very soft, not too sweet (but could be sweeter for me), and tasted fresh. The egg waffles were my favorite. It had a crunchy outside layer and soft spongy inside. I would recommend trying this place if you haven't been before.

Highly recommended! Their coconut jelly and waffles are both very delicious! We had a taro coconut jar, a double coconut jar, and waffles. The coconut jar has a fresh coconut taste, soft texture, and perfect sweetness. The taro coconut jar (11/10) is very creamy, rich, and smooth. One layer of coconut, and one layer of taro, match so well with the light taste of coconut jelly. The double coconut jar (9/10) has coconut jello on the bottom. Its fresh and light tastes feel very tasty and healthy. The original waffle (10/10). It took 10 mins to make it, came out so hot and it's so fresh. The outside layer is a little crunchy, inside is very soft, like the Mochi donut texture, tastes eggy and milky with perfect sweetness. The store decor has the Chinese emperor style explains the store name. It averages $10 to get a good quality, good size &healthy dessert I will vote for it!

Delicious coconut jelly served in a jar. Super soft and a good variety of fresh fruit toppings to choose from.
