Well can’t say much about the situation or the restaurant chain itself. As a long time costumer of the pollo loco locations across America I’ve been stuck with a decision that I have never been able to agree with and that is why I’m no longer interested in the restaurant chain.. the protein serving is a joke I’ve seen better served portions with other restaurants chain I figured it was only a few locations that this may happen in but I was wrong it happens in every restaurant I’ve visited and purchased food..
I like the place and the food. The main problem is the homeless people around and inside the place. I would not eat there but definitely order to go.

Today I walked in by this location its the worse place,i went on my lunch break I order a tostada and it took litteredly almost 10 minutes the lady that made my food was in the corner on her phone she went to station didn't wash her hands before making my tostada,didn't have enough chicken and my dressing was missing Food Quality awful I will not return to this place highly dont recommend this place !! Like i staided this restaurant is discusting employes not washing hands

Every time i go to this pollo loco and when Vialca is there she is the best she always checks everything is ready for us how we want it the chicken is always juicy and not dry. Its worth the 45 minute drive.
I honestly believe that they serve dead chicken there like fr their food is literally disgusting

The chicken was not hot enough as I expected, and paying over 18 dollars for 4 legs and 4 thighs and salsa, no tortillas no napkins no sides it is a little too much.

I've never eaten at El Pollo Loco before and tried it the night before I was flying home. It was so good. I couldn't believe how good their chicken is. If they had one back home I'd be here every week. Please open a location in Honolulu. I got the two piece chicken meal with a breast and wing. It comes with two sides and warm tortillas. I chose corn and mashed potatoes with gravy for my sides. The cashier asked if I wanted corn or flour tortillas. I asked her if they had anything crunchy as I don't like soft tortillas. She said that she could give me tortilla chips instead and asked if I wanted salsa. I got the house mild salsa. The grilled chicken was tender and moist. It's made with fresh chicken that has never been frozen. The marinade they use for the chicken is fantastic, you can just taste that hint of lime. They baste the chicken as it's being grilled. The sides were terrific as well. The corn was seasoned and had a natural sweetness to it. The mashed potatoes were creamy and was good with the savory gravy. The tortilla chips were nice and crispy. I could tell that they were fresh. The house salsa mild had a serious kick. They call it mild, but to me it was spicy. I was reaching for the water after each bite. The cashier and the people working in the kitchen were really friendly. They even wanted to pose in my pics, lol. I cracked some jokes with them. I usually don't give five stars to fast food places, but this place was so good. I don't know how many different ways I can tell you. PLEASE OPEN A LOCATION IN HONOLULU.

Very clean & well kept areas to sit at. Employees, (especially FERNANDA) are so friendly & helpful & patient! Prices aren't outrageous like other Chicken Fast Food places! Great to go have "alone" time & relax and enjoy great tasting food! ?
