The best Malatang in Los Angeles, especially the secret bone broth, with dipping sauces is even better than the soup base in some hot pot restaurants. I have eaten at all the restaurants by Zhang Liang and Yang Guofu, and they are not to my taste. This is the only one that I want to go back to because of its delicious flavor. I hope the boss keeps it going.
I ordered and love the secret soup base, and no dry mouth feeling after drank all the soup. Only one thing I can complain is the BIG spicy level for me (a Taiwanese)can just category to SMALL lolll. definitely comes back.
I drove out to look for food at 10 o'clock in the middle of the night. It was not easy to find this place. It felt like a dark and old roadside in China! There are two waiters, the male is okay, the female is frowning and unhappy?! There are not many types of ingredients, which are considered fresh, but the bean sprouts and bean skin are black, and the beef is completely gone! I ordered beef bone soup and tasted the buttery garlic crayfish. You can try the grilled flour sausage!
