Kopan Sushi & Ramen

This is a regular dinner spot for my husband and I. They have a Buy 1, get 1 half off deal on premium sushi rolls. The rolls are very good and fresh. My favorite thing to order is the Tonkotsu Ramen. The bone broth is delicious and the noodles are al dente texture. Occasionally, the broth seems less rich. It's like they water it down if they are running low. That is the only negative. Most of the time it is consistently delicious.

Kopan Sushi and Ramen is our favorite sushi and ramen spot. We love the BOGO roll 50% special and we order that every time. We always come back to this location because of the quality of the sushi rolls and size. We have tried quite a few of their rolls, raw rolls, baked, and deep fried and they are all amazing.

Their ramen is great as well, our favorites are the Miso and tonkatsu. The broth and the ramen noodles are very memorable.

The atmosphere always keeps us coming back as well, the interior is amazing and so welcoming.

Very good place. My first time here and it was very pleasant, Annie was our server and she was very nice with my brother and I. We tried the Tonkotsu Spicy 2, Kara Miso Ramen, and for last one California Roll. The Ramen was very good, light and very good for dinner. If you want to enjoy a dinner with a person you would like to have a very personal and private space together, this is the right place to go with those persons. Definitely would come back

Hidden Gem in Whittier in the whittwood shopping center great prices and big portions. Have only been at lunch hour and had take out at dinner time. Both have been better sushi then I've had around the area

"The Sushi Roll That Almost Ended Me"

The food was okay, but on February 9, 2025, I nearly died from food poisoning. I was rushed to the hospital at 2 a.m., unable to stop the uncontrollable vomiting and diarrhea. I was given morphine for the pain, an IV injection, and Zofran to stop the vomiting. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant unless you have good insurance. My medical bill was over $20,000+ dollars, and thankfully, my insurance covered it. Luckily, I only had to pay $100 for my copay.

To make matters worse, the restaurant refused to give me a refund and stopped answering my calls.

I've been going here for over 10 years and I gotta say this is one of the better ramen and sushi places to eat around the area. Their tonkatsu ramen is yummm and I would say it's in my top 2 ramen places to eat at.
