The matcha usually hits, but unfortunately i may have gotten a bad batch or they might have changed the quality of their matcha for the soft serve. It’s usually smooth and a vibrant green, but the one I got was a dull green and not well incorporated 🙁
I ordered the banana cream matcha latte. It is banana flavored with Nilla wafer on top. I wanted to try it because banana cream matchas have been trending, and I was very intrigued. While I don’t LOVE banana taste, this matcha was enjoyable (especially with the wafers). If you don’t like bananas you probably won’t like this (obviously) but maybe you will!
The line moved quickly, and the staff was super nice. Just know what you want ahead of time and head straight to order,no need for attitude, and you’ll be good.
I stayed inside the shop since they serve fast and only call your number twice. I got their #9 Kuromitsu Kinako Matcha. Honestly, I was a little sad because I couldn’t taste much matcha, the kinako (roasted soybean powder?) flavor was really strong and kinda overpowered everything else.
