I had to leave the restaurant after sitting down. Obviously someone has been smoking inside and the restaurant staff ( I assume) were singing loud karaoke inside another room on a Tuesday at 7pm. No wonder we were the only customers there. Looks like they are not ready work. Thanks Did they get ownership change?
Love the food and services. Excellent!
10/10 services! Prices great and great selection. Love it.
I normally to go to this place at least once a week. The food here is very delicious. It always comes out amazing. The place is very clean and the staff are super nice and friendly.
The staff are very nice and sweet. Can't ask for more. Decent price and great quality.
Great food and prices are decent. Very happy we find this place. Definitely will be back.
Real good food, highly recommended! Crawfish is a must!!! Best I ever had!
It was a cold Friday evening and we're looking for Chinese food that is both hot and spicy. We came upon Miao Miao Xian in Rowland Heights. When we arrived, we were greeted with an adorable logo of a cat. AHHH! That explains the name. The restaurant is quite spacious inside and comes with an extensive menu of seafood and meat dishes.Their mission is to provide fresh, healthy and nutritious tasty food at reasonable prices in a clean and friendly environment. We ordered the Cod Fish - Dragon Gate Style, Short Ribs in Griddle Pot, and Glutinous Rice Dumplings for desserts. The short ribs came with crunchy fries, dressed in a spicy sauce. So delicious!! The cod fish came in a spicy broth, packed with all kind of ingredients such as mantis shrimp, lotus roots, and mushroom. The meal ended on a perfect note with Glutinous Rice Dumplings, a lovely ending to cool down all of the spices. If you’re still undecided on what to eat this weekend, come here! I guarantee you will have a great time!!
Service was great, food was decent, good price after discount

I am not a Chinese person so i cant comment if it is authentic but to me i feel like the food is authentic. good food. I will definitely come back for more. I wanna try more dishes here. We had crazy spicy flavor paper wrapped fish which was so spicy that almost messed up my stomach.
This place is phenomenal. I have been three times and the food is uniformly fantastic each time. The menu appears to have been streamlined a bit recently, which seems OK to me as it was a bit overwhelming before. The star of the show is, of course, the dry pot. I have nothing against boilerplate Chinese-American takeout, but I feel very lucky to have the option to check out authentic, regional Chinese cuisine during a working lunch. Highly recommended.
Came here thinking it was hot pot and then the server was kind enough to explain about the north and south and how there is hot pot and dry pot. We loved the fact there are different spice levels. I got the mild while my husband got the ridiculously spicy which no one can handle and he loved it.
I am adding this spot to one of my top favorites in LA without a question. Lost of these trendy restaurants in Rowland Heights come out tasting pretty average, but Miao Miao Xian stood out to me on a higher level.
We were contemplating between several suggested Chinese restaurants in the 626 and ended up trying Miao Miao Xian and definitely didn't regret it. The Hot pot with Black Cod, tofu, and veggies was very delicious , amazing flavors and spices. We also tried frog Dry Pot, it was my first time ever trying frog meat so I cant say much, tasted like chicken filet though. Aged eggs and soft tofu had interesting sauce, a but smoky which added a good edge to it. Overall, good experience, will definitely come back when in the area again
