Pickled Fish: The fish is so tender that it melts in your mouth, the sauerkraut is crispy and appetizing, the soup base is sour and spicy but not choking at all, every bite is full of sincerity! I especially like the light numbing aroma, paired with hot rice, it is simply a healing tool in winter!
Guobao Pork: Under the golden and crispy skin is tender and juicy tenderloin. The ratio of sweet and sour sauce is just right. You can hear the "click" when you bite into it! The texture is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It is definitely a textbook interpretation of Northeastern cuisine!
Home-style tofu: The tofu is fried until it is charred on the outside and tender on the inside. It absorbs the fragrance of the sauce and is smooth and tender in the mouth without losing the bean flavor. Paired with the crispness of fungus and green pepper, it is full of texture, simple but full of homey taste, and it is a perfect meal!
The three dishes in this restaurant each have their own merits. The taste is authentic and the portions are substantial. You will become a fan after eating it once! Highly recommended to friends who love food~

Great taste of hometown flavors. Loved the "Guo Bao Rou". Best one so far I have ever had in LA.

I went here for dinner, the service was horrible with the waiters having attitudes and not helping me with ordering and such. At the end i didn’t even wait for my last couple of dishes to arrive and i checked out because I didn’t feel like I received the proper service I got.
I did not give tip, yet the server chased me out demanding for tip. I refused multiple times but they continuously bugged me for it. Horrible place

The Guobao Pork, Di Sanxian and Dumplings are all delicious. The serving chopsticks and service attitude are good. I like their store very much.

Our favorite dishes, especially 锅包肉. Definitely the correct place to try some northern Chinese dishes.

Passed this place a couple times, but never thought about giving it a try until today, as the interior looks so dark from outside.
The interior is actually bright and clean.
The restaurant claims that they provide NE Chinese food. We ordered 3 different dishes and they all tasted decent. Will come back to something else in the future.
