As a Taiwanese in California there’s not a lot of really “good authentic” restaurants, but I’ve lived I. Rowland heights for so many years now and this is by far my favorite stinky tofu restaurant ever and they have amazing service, super kind staff, you can sit outside or inside! Super great and love the food!
Inside the restaurant are really sink of deep fires tofu, but we had to sit outside. It was very good

Good food, Local restaurant, and Authentic.I came across Tofu King because of Stinky Tofu! During my trip in LA, I'd talked to my GF and I mentioned that I wanted to have stinky tofu like Taiwan so bad then she said, there is one place in LA that served good stinky tofu (Chow-To-Fu). So here we go!While I parked the car, I can smelled something smelly but saliva drooling...It's stinky tofu smell!Stinky Tofu was very good, probably the best that I had so far in these couple years. It's not so smelly, but tasty and still juicy and grabbed Taiwanese sausage with sticky rice, and minced pork over rice back home.Overall, I'm so impressed with the level of flavor. As you may know Taiwanese cuisine was very simple, and neutral taste tendency so Tofu King was like that kind of.I'll definitely come back again next time when I visit LA. See you later!
I love love love tofu king! Such an og spot and i believe they accept credit card now but im always cash prepared. Place is small and personal and clean! Customer service is always great. The quality of food and flavor hasn't changed over the many years so I'll always recommend this spot!

I was so surprised to like this place and especially their food...I've had stinky tofu before and I love tofu so much that my first experience with stinky tofu was so disappointing I did not want to try it again...but, this time it is so good I would recommend this place to everyone who wants to be more adventurous and have Intestine wrap, stinky tofu and Dan Dan dry noodle here..come with open mind and empty stomach!

Authentic Taiwan Deli. Great selection of the small bite food selection. The price is reasonable and the service is alright. I often come here for their to-go; I love their Stinky tofu and a variety of Taiwan style rice and noodles.

I finally got a chance to try it, even only for take out. My experience: the Pork Thick Soup has only a few pieces of pork, and small, it's indeed named a "soup"; the Stinky Tofu has good flavor, but the to-go box did not bother to separate tofu from the pickled cabbage so some pieces were soaked with juice and messed up the flavor.

Really shocked that is place serves a decent stinky tofu! As well as a decent lu rou fan and the ever-elusive tung tzai mi gao which I haven't had since I was a pre-teen. Holy moly. Taste-wise, nothing blew me out of the water, but definitely hit the spot as comfort food. It's a very modest store, cramped seating, and you might have to wait. But if these are things you're craving, not a bad spot to hit up!

Great Chinese food. The place is tiny and hard to find but worth it. It smells of stinky tofu but that's the point of coming here in the first place.
As you walk up to the restaurant you get hit with the smell of stinky tofu which I appreciated. It made the whole experience very authentic to Taiwanese cuisine. The mushroom pork rice was very tender and flavorful! The only thing is the portions are pretty small. But the flavors were all there

Really good authentic Taiwanese food. I have a weakness for stinky Tofu. Tofu King did not disappoint. Tofu King makes delicious versions of other Taiwanese classics. Service was fast, friendly and efficient.

We were in the mood for some traditional Taiwanese eats and the Tofu King hit the spot! Situated in an old plaza in Rowland Heights, the plaza still houses a good number of eateries serving traditional Taiwanese food. We enjoyed the dishes we ordered at Tofu King! The stinky tofu wasn't bad but needs some work; it was a bit dry and could benefit from stronger flavors. Everything else was spot on!

It was good , I went in thinking it was gonna be hard for me to order but they were really nice and took my order as soon as I came in and I was outta there in less than ten minutes. I just ordered some minced pork and rice w/egg and it was good it was exactly what I wanted and it was a pretty good price less than 10 dollars.
