One of the best meals we have had. It is only a one star Michelin but we thought it deserved 2 stars and we have been to many 3 star ones. The view is fantastic so extra bonus on the terrace. It gets chilly when the sun starts to set and they have individual heaters, that worked great. Will definitely go back when in Napa

We recently stayed at Auberge du Soleil for a very special occasion — I proposed to my fiancée on the terrace of our room, overlooking the stunning backdrop of Napa Valley. From that moment on, every detail of our trip was simply perfect.

The concierge team went above and beyond, curating an unforgettable experience that included wine tastings, romantic dinners, a breathtaking hot air balloon ride, and seamless private car service throughout our stay. Their attention to detail and personalized service made everything feel effortless and elevated. They even arranged a surprise romantic turn down service on the night of our engagement.

Given the reputation of Auberge du Soleil, our expectations were high — and yet every aspect of our stay exceeded them. The room was luxurious and serene, the views were magical, the food was exquisite, and the hospitality from every member of the staff was warm, genuine, and first class.

I'm frankly shocked that Michelin continues to award this restaurant a star. The food was largely uninspired with some dishes better than others. Although our server was kind, in general the service felt mechanical and lacked that personal touch that I would expect for a $200+ meal. I heard a person at the table next to us ask a basic question about balsamic vinegar and was given an "I don't know" response. That represents a lack of passion for their product that reflected throughout the meal.

A very pleasant hotel restaurant with great views of the valley. Some road noise spoils the quiet atmosphere when sitting outside. The food is very good but not up to expectations for a Michelin star.

Gorgeous view. It got a bit windy but they had blankets on hand for people who got chilly. Everything we ordered was delicious, Auberge du Soliel did not disappoint!
