Today I was very disappointed in BV wines. I have purchased a lot of wine with them over the years. Back on 9/23 their sales person called and asked if I would like to purchase a case of Tapestry. I said I would like to but wanted the vintage to be 2021 or 2023. I did not want 2020 or 2022. The seller indicated that she would have to check to see if they still had 2023 left. I said I would take 2021. She said she would go count and let me know. In the end she said she had a case of 2021 and sold it to me. About a month goes by and I hear nothing so I write and ask what happened as normally they ship right away. They said they would have to check and get back with me. They did not so I called again. The Customer Service agent said she would check and get back. Well nothing so I called again. This time she said the ship on Friday and if it did not make it today they would ship it 11/14/2025. Well the very next day I get a note from the original Customer service agent that they could not fill my request as the 2021 was sold out. No explanation just no wine. Then they said we can sell you 2020 or 2022. Which I did not want , and it appears others did not either as they still have those. So another conversation took place today and the Customer service person said they would look in to using their library stash and or credit the wine purchase back and in any event they would get back with me. Well ngetting back just a credit came through. You know I love Napa and Napa wines but this winery should really review their process and how they do business. It not about the people in Customer Service. They were very nice and polite but in the end the selling process failed them. Oh and as a side note another sales person called me today to see if I wanted any holiday wine. You know where that call went.
Gary was the most knowledgeable and patient wine educator; willing to spend his time telling stoeies of his long experience in the wine industry. I had the pleasure of learning a lot from him. The wines, of course, are without comparison, esp the Cab Sauv's. Very recommended experience!
Was not my favorite stop of the Napa weekend. The tasting wasn't bad but the explanations and details about the wines left a bit to be desired. I think we had a newer person, so perhaps next time i will have a better experience and bump this rating up a bit! Either way, thanks for a fun time
Daniela was probably the best host we have ever had, bar none. She was engaging, SO friendly and provided some awesome commentary around the wines and the history of BV.
Wine was good. Came for free wine taste and was treated as such. The guy that poured was nice and down to earth. People in main center.... would not probably get a membership here
The place looks very classy and the whole design really makes it look professional and luxurious.
Our waiter explained in detail about each wine we were tasting, and he was able to answer our questions.
There were 3 of us, and we each liked different wines. It really depends on personal taste preference.
My wife and I stopped in and were able to book a tasting on short notice. Blake was our host and made this spur of the moment tasting into one of our favorite of our trip. The wine was phenomenal and the hospitality was great. We can’t wait to come back!
We were late for our tasting but they graciously adjusted. Janine made our day with her warmth, charming storytelling and the best wine we tasted all day. Highly recommend adding a stop here while visiting.
Daniel was a pleasure to have serve us wine. Great history here, great wines and great people working there. Would recommend to anyone to go here
We had a delightful time. A beautiful location, lovely wines and Dan did a great job going above and beyond as our host. We are sure to go back

Reserve a La Tour Tasting and take your time tasting the many fine wines offered. Listen to the story on each offering but don’t detach from listening with intention to your own palate noting which is most agreeable. Because it’s very subjective. I’ve a few favorites like the cab franc for everyday wine and casual gatherings. Then I have the George De La Tour for very special occasions. And last but not least, the Maestro cabs for those in between special moments that’s deserving of a tighter and lengthier backbone. There are others that I like from the reserve collection but these have been my go to.
Had a wonderful experience at this vineyard. We were warmly greeted and our host taught us so much about proper ways to taste wine and the history of various wines that BV makes.
Dan was incredibly thorough and detailed in his explanation of the winery and what it has to offer! Much more intimate experience than other wineries. Highly
Recommend!
We stopped by as walk-ins. Deanna greeted us and took care of us for the tasting. By that time we’d gone to a couple of highly rated (4.8 and 4.9 on Google) wineries. This was by far the best experience. Deanna was very knowledgeable and engaging. She shared a wealth of information about the wines and made the experience very enjoyable. The cost of the tasting was also more reasonable compared to the other two where we felt the service was friendly but sparse. The BV wines were also very good.
5 points for Maestro Chelishchev in the yard!
