Visited Cakebread on 12/20/24 for a tasting tour and it was absolutely incredible! The property is simply amazing and our host, Charlie was truly a pleasure to listen to! I loved all the wines tasted and bought the bottle of the Pinot Noir! Thank you so much Charlie for showing us a great time!

Lisa was so amazing! Went on a Tuesday afternoon with my mom and best friend, as we played hookie from work and mom Visiting. We loved the grounds as they were so beautiful and we asked Lisa a ton of questions because curiosity is def our thing coming from an ag background and being in the local area. She was SO helpful and knowledgeable, and overall personable !! It was us 3 and another group of ladies, 4 of them, and she intertwined all of us so it made it so much more fun. We loved LISA! She was just so sweet and recommend anyone request for her upon visiting.

Had such a lovely tour on Saturday (11/9/24) guided by Kathy! We learned so much about Cakebread and their wine making process, but also had a blast just talking to Kathy and the rest of the group. She made us feel so welcomed and at ease. Plus the wine was amazing!

The wine and estate are 5 stars. We have visited the winery twice and have been blown away both times. The food pairing and library tasting was EXCEPTIONAL and I can't recommend touring the gardens enough.
The grounds are absolutely lovely. And the wine is delicious.

She led us through a sustainability tour, where we got to see all of the measures that Cakebread has taken to be a leader in sustainable winemaking.

Our family had a wonderful visit to Cakebread Cellars. We had an opening in our schedule and decided to make an impromptu stop since we had such a good time during our tasting 10 years ago. Kathy was especially welcoming, helpful and accommodating even though we did not have a reservation. We thought it would be a great idea to recreate our family picture with a specific Cakebread sign, but found out it was no longer on display after the very beautiful renovation. Kathy took it upon herself to hunt down this sign even after we left and found it for us to come back later for a picture. Thank you Kathy for your kindness and professionalism You set the bar high for the rest of our trip.

Stopped in with a group of 8 from Ohio. We were last minute and had been kicked out by the rest of the local spots because we didn't have a reservation. Cakebread was on our list and thank god Sam from PA was working. She took our rowdy group in and treated us as family. We had 2 people that hate wine and by the end of our stop they are signing up for the wine club. Sam thanks for a great experience! Cakebread is lucky to have you.
