Had a wonderful experience today with Dean. The property is gorgeous and the tasting was delightful! So much education and history and Dean kept us at attention and fully entertained throughout the tour. I will be back and indulge in a food pairing next time.

Had a great tasting tour today- Melissa was our guide and was so knowledgeable and was wonderful. The tour was great and wines were wonderful! A must visit spot in Napa! Their Chardonnays and Cabs were phenomenal!

I visited Cakebread winery in Napa and did a tasting. Being a fan of their wines for years I was excited and the wine and estate were amazing. Sadly the people were disappointing. Upon arrival we were greeted by a woman who spoke to us while she had food in her mouth. Then our guide for the tour had to be a former educator the way she spoke to us, as if we were in a classroom. Also I always thought of Cakebread as a luxury type of wine, so I was a little surprised about the guide’s some what bargain appearance.

I absolutely love their wines! Cakebread is perhaps most well known for white wines, but their Cabernet Sauvignon is one of my faves.
I also did a Cabernet and Cassoulet cooking class here and that was so much fun. Chef Brian led the class and was a fantastic teacher. Afterwards, we get to eat our own cooking and the meal is paired with healthy pours of delicious wine. I'd highly recommend the experience!
All the staff at this family-run winery make you feel right at home. The ambiance is warm and beautiful.

Our first time here! We did the tour with wine tasting stations at key locations. Very good wines! We bought 3 bottles. Really ompressed with their room filled with custom built concrete egg feementing and aging containers. Highly recommended!!

So disappointed in this vineyard. Had an issue with trying to get a replacement bottle for a bottle that was corked. Not worth the trouble. An email never answered. Then a telephone ☎️ call that left me nowhere. I knew I should have just written it off. The wine 🍷 was at a special occasion and brought disappointment. Since then more disappointment. Try standing behind your product. Last phone call was them accusing me of stealing the wine since I didn't have proof of purchase. Sad.

Came here to celebrate a birthday as part of a weekend trip to Napa/Sonoma. Visiting the tasting room here was memorable and enjoyable, primarily because of Kathy Martin, our guest experience host. She was knowledgeable about the specific wines, the region, the winery, and the minutiae of the wine making process, down to the composition of the concrete eggs! On top of that, she was a great sport, keeping up with a really lively family group even though we were the last tour of the day. Really a great representative of a beautiful winery. Cannot recommend highly enough!!
