It was raining when we visited so they set us up on the porch of the main building, which I LOVED. They had the heaters going and offered a cozy blanket. We were allowed to walk literally anywhere we wanted which was such a cool experience to see the bottling process and the cellar. All wines were delish and the staff was so friendly and attentive, especially Angela and Jeff(?). Would recommend!
We like to support wineries like Frog’s Leap that are committed to sustainable and organic practices.
This is a very good Sauvignon Blanc that is fresh, fruity, and smooth with just the right amount of crispness.
We were lucky to find it at our local Total Wine store. Now we look forward to visiting the winery to taste more varieties and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Thanks to FLW!
The tasting exceeded expectations. The grounds and house are so relaxing and beautiful. The pictures don’t do it justice. Our host was great and so were the wines! Highly recommend! If we were local we would come here often.
Coming back to Frogs Leap is like visiting your most gracious family!! Again exceeded our expectations in hospitality, wine education, wine quality, and ambiance.
The most beautiful winery I've ever been to! Great wines, dog friendly. Loved it!
We had such an incredible time during our garden tasting. Very informal, a small outside bar serves as the tap for all groups. You approach the wine tender as a group, and they take you through a varied tasting. They take special requests, and honestly it seemed like they were just going to continue pouring for us until we said “when”. Shoutout to McCoy who let us try a splash of the members only Cab Franc. We enjoyed the minerality of the Rosé, the creaminess of the Sav Blanc (very different, seemingly underwent some malolactic fermentation), the sessionability of the Flycatcher, the pepper tasting profile of the Cab Franc, and the big bold nature of the Rossi Cab (my personal favorite).
While you taste, you are free to walk the grounds at your leisure. We had a great time speaking with the workers who were sterilizing the barrels, walking in the rafters above the tanks, picking fresh citrus from the trees (best lemon I have EVER had), vibing by the koi fish pond, and meeting ALL of the animals (sheep dogs, sheep, chickens).
A great sensory experience on a truly beautiful California day.
Incredible tasting, wonderful knowledgeable staff, and beautiful grounds they happily let you walk around! Their farming practices, and winemaking, allow the wines to stand alone at the top of some of the best producers in Napa! Do not miss this estate, and farm while you're in town!
Beautiful property and wonderful wines. We appreciated the sustainable practices they prioritize
I did a lot of research before bringing my in-laws to Napa for their first time (from San Diego) and Frog’s Leap was mentioned numerous times on various posts I read. After visiting, it makes sense!!! We had the best time at our late morning tasting with Leslie. She was attentive, personable, and witty! Her service and the delicious wines really left a lasting impression! Not to mention the property is just gorgeous. Thank you!!
This was an absolutely stunning experience!! I could not have asked for more of a special and unique time. I enjoyed Frog’s Leap and the offerings very much. Frank was a fantastic server and guide and I could not recommend it enough!!

Don’t go if you don’t have a reservation, staff is very rude if you don’t have a reservation. Gorgeous property, bummed we could not try the wine…
Our favorite tour and tasting across a few we have recently experienced in Napa. We enjoyed hearing about the winery's history, its dry-farming approach and touring the property. The tasting was well set-up and both fun and informative. Would strongly recommend.
Great day wine tasting at Frog's Leap. Beautiful setting on the porch. Relaxed and laid back - perfect start to the day. Enjoyed the stories about the wines and vineyard from Leslie (sort of reminds me of Robin Wright :-) She did a great job and was a pleasure to be with.
We did the Rooted in Rutherford tour and had an incredible time. The winery grounds are beautiful and learning about them as well as the history of the winery was great. The thorough tasting of Frog's Leap wines along with local food accompaniments was a great experience. Highly recommend!
Beautiful winery offering a variety of excellent wines, olive oil, jam, and other provisions in an idyllic setting. We very much enjoyed our tasting and stroll through the grounds. Wine specialist Natalie was wonderful.
