5 stara for ambience, service, and the fact that kids are allowed, 3.5 stars for the wine itself. We had a 6 year old with us and very few places in Napa allow kids these days, but this one was on several lists. The setting is gorgeous and we had great service in the bistro. Our party of 6 adults and 2 kids ordered a bunch of food like muffaletta sandwiches and a variety of cheeses, and order all 5 glasses of wine and turned it into a tasting. We had a nice big area to ourselves...
Our tasting with David was very pleasant. Inglenook is already picturesque, much like Coppola’s filmography, but David’s knowledge of the estate and the wine industry took our tasting to the next level. Definitely make time for Inglenook and see if David is pouring that day.
Our first stop during our trip to Napa and we were starstruck!! The building and grounds are absolutely gorgeous. Two people who work there took time to stop and chat with us and tell us about the history of Inglenook and their wine options. We made a bistro reservation and had fun walking around the 2nd floor museum with a glass of wine in hand. Highly recommend working in a stop at Inglenook!
