This is the McDonalds of Napa Valley. Nothing is yucky. It’s not necessarily what I am looking for when I come to Napa valley. If you’re looking for koolaid, you’ve come to the right place.

Disgusting. There were fruit flies in the wine we were served from the bottle. We were then given to believe this was normal and couldn't be helped, which I take as an intellectual insult. We have visited the wineries of Napa valley several times, and have never had an experience like this one. The three wines we tasted were nothing to write home about, but the presence of insects in the wine suggests it may not have been properly stored/decanted. I'm no wine expert, but something is definately wrong here.

The facilities were nice, especially the decor of the outdoor space.

EDIT: I appreciate the response from management, and what looks to be a genuine effort to make it right. However, I DO NOT APPRECIATE their insistence that serving fruit flies from a bottle is somehow normal or acceptable. It is not. Here’s why:

1. Quality Control: Wine with insects in the bottle may indicate a problem with storage, bottling, or hygiene standards. Professional establishments are expected to ensure that all wines served are of the highest quality and free from contaminants.

2. Presentation and Etiquette: Wine tasting events emphasize presentation and attention to detail. Pouring wine with visible flaws, such as insects, goes against the standards of such events.

3. Fruit flies can significantly affect the taste of wine because they carry an enzyme called esterase, which can alter the wine's aromatic compounds.

4. Health Concerns: While most insects are not harmful if consumed accidentally, their presence in wine could pose a potential health risk or cause discomfort for guests.

***To the Management: We accept your apology and I will add a star for your genuine response, but you really should do something to fix this problem.

I had an incredibly disappointing and hurtful experience at Peju Winery in Napa. My sisters and I were excited to enjoy a relaxing day of wine tasting, but unfortunately, we were met with clear discrimination by Nicole the manager & her staff. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us with hostility and disrespect, making us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. Despite being polite and following all rules, we were eventually kicked out for no apparent reason. Not even did they kicked us out but they humiliated us in front of others.

This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and it ruined what should have been a lovely day. It’s sad to see such behavior at a place that’s supposed to be warm and inviting. I hope Peju Winery takes this feedback seriously and works to create a more inclusive and respectful environment for all their guests. I will not be returning. Despite the fun an amazing time I had at other Napa winery’s.

Today on October 19th unfortunately I experience discrimination from manager Nicole. I was in line waiting to be serve and she completely ignored me and helped 3 order families that we were behind me and sisters. We asked the manager if someone was going to helped me she told me someone was coming with out even looking at me. After a long time we were helped. After 15 minutes I was asked to leave because I was speaking in Spanish she didn’t even come to us to tell us, she told someone else to come and tell us leave. When I asked why I was told to leave I was told because I was SPEAKING SPANISH. I have never felt so discriminated as I did today. We did paid we were asked for ids after the fact we paid so I had to show my id after they took my money. Since then I felt the discrimination this is the place where HISPANIC ARE NOT WELCOME BECAUSE THE MANAGER NICOLE.

During our visit, we had the pleasure of experiencing the beautiful surroundings of this Napa Valley winery. The outdoor area resembled a peaceful garden, featuring charming sculptures and a stylish building with an old charm. The entrance, adorned with a unique arch, led us to a souvenir shop offering a variety of items, including wines and scented candles, from which we purchased some delightful gifts.
We look forward to returning for a wine-tasting experience during our next visit.

Been here twice over 3 years. If you go to Napa this is an absolute must, otherwise you are missing an experience, which includes the finest wines, most beautiful ambiance, and the staff is incredible.

So so so rude. Worst staff I’ve ever seen. Yelled at me. Never go here. They will insult you.

We had a terrible experience with the manager and customer service. They were so rude. When we paid for a $25 glass, they gave us 1 oz and claimed it was 5 oz. Do not go there.

A fabulous tasting. Scott is one of the best tasting room workers and educators I have ever come across. A truly wonderful and immersive experience

We have been visiting this Winery since it was literally a tiny blip on the radar back in the early 2000's. Can't say enough nice things about them. Moved to Florida so can't visit there nearly as often but definitely worth the stop.

We stopped here seeing the walk-ins welcome sign. We bought two $65 tastings. We were seated in a room with glass tables and fine wine glassware. We had a five wine tasting and were given an extra of there best selling wine. The process lasted about an hour with a host who explained the offerings and possible food pairings. It seems that a good majority of the wineries are offering these experiences. As I sat through the process I realized I was listening to a sales pitch. It was like someone trying to sell you a timeshare. We did end up buying 4 bottles which waived one of the tasting fees. But in the end, I would have preferred to buy a flight of my choice and sample at my pace.

The best winery in Napa. We truly enjoyed our tasting, and the cheese platter was amazing. Would highly recommend you try a tasting here.
