Auberge du Soliel never disappoints. It is pricey, but defiunitely worth it for special occasions. The view out over the Napa Valley is special. The service is top-notch. Everyone works together to provide a fantastic dining experience. The food is always great, and never boring. Everyone who can afford it should make the trip and have a great experience.

Truly an amazing experience, given the anticipation and our high expectations. Cuisine was artful, inventive and delicious with excellent flavors and texture. Wine list was well thought through and reasonably priced, at all quality levels. Staff was well trained, friendly and very professional. We felt at home. Auberge should be on your list, don't miss it.

We were so excited to bring our friends to a Michelin star restaurant because they had never been. What a disappointment. We arrived and they had fancy outhouses for bathrooms. This would have been no big deal if the meal was amazing, but... another disappointment. There were lobster shells in the soup (luckily, no chipped tooth) and those of us who ordered the beef main course enjoyed some of the most rubbery and flavorless meat we had ever eaten. We also asked the sommelier to do a wine pairing with our meal. It was good for the most part. Until, they poured the end of a bottle filled with a lot of sediment. We brought all these issues to the attention of the wait staff. Unfortunately, no one seemed to care. We understand that nothing can be perfect, nor did we expect perfection. But, when your customer communicates to you the issues they're experiencing, management should address it with the customer immediately. This did not happen. At a Michelin star restaurant, you expect an awareness and elevated experience. The reason for two stars as opposed to one... the other food was amazing. The wait service and bread service was spot on. At the end of the night, we had to make management aware of our poor experience, which was disappointing. Management should have come to us to make it right. That would have prevented the making of this review. . Overall, not worth $1600 for a party of 4. Find another restaurant. I am sad we had to post this, we gave them so many opportunities to make it right... they fell short.

Beautiful way to start the new year. It was our anniversary and everything was perfect. From arrival to departure. The food was delicious, the hostess, server , Everyone we made contact with were friendly , polite, and professional. They effortlessly make you feel special. We love this restaurant. Will be back in March when they reopen.

Restaurant is nice. Food is average. However, they serve tiny, kid-sized portions, even the so-called “main course”. This should be called a tapas restaurant as it provides little bits of average food at massively inflated prices. The A5 Steak was terrible, it was like eating leather for a $75 up charge. Most of it ended up in the napkin. Desserts were also small but the only items that stood out. Very average place and ridiculously overpriced for what you actually get. Go here if you're ok with spending 3x-4x more than you should just to say you went to this alleged “Michelin” restaurant.

We had a great experience dining here. The staff were very attentive and willing to answer any and all questions. The brunch courses were beautifully presented and tasted great as well. The risotto was a bit on the salty side for our liking, but everything else was so delicious. Would highly recommend!

Auberge continues to deliver. The service and food are phenomenal and it deserves the Michelin star. We had a couple of special requests and they could not have been more accommodating. It was a rainy day so we didn't have a chance to take advantage pf the terrific views, but it didn't matter, still a wonderful experience. If you have not tried this restaurant yet, you need to!

For the view in sunny days , worth going. Otherwise, food was not that good for its price, service was just OK with no attention to details(server kept bumping into my chair for multiple times but nvr apologized for it)

Impressive four-course dinner experience! Beautiful views, very dish thoughtfully curated and delicious with lovely service. Definitely loved the ability to choose my courses. Include this dining experience in your Napa Valley trip!

Not that impressed by the view or food which were the main selling points. My husband's entree and my dessert were good, but neither of us liked our first course (shell pieces in my oysters), my second course the quail salad lacked flavor and my husband's dessert was completely inedible from the overly boozy eggnog sauce. I was also disappointed by a drink issue. I ordered a full glass of a grand cru for $40 or 60 I can't remember (they offer half glasses which I thought odd). Grand crus are my favorite and the one recommended was just okay. I drank about half the glass before a fly drowned in it. My husband asked if they could get me a new half glass (the amount that remained). Considering the outrageous mark up on it, we figured it wouldn't be a big deal. They brought me out a new half glass but the champagne in it was flat. I took a sip and knew it wasn't the grand cru I ordered. They ended up making it right after we explained the wrong champagne was poured. Regardless, who serves flat champagne? There was one server and she was super kind but the bad food, champagne/customer service issue, average view and super slow pacing between courses is the reason we wouldn't go back. Really, it was the only lacking dining experience we've ever had in our trips to Napa.

Service, great. Ambiance, great. Food, taste well worthy of the reputation however, I bit down on an olive pit in my risotto and a few pieces of my lamb were “blue” on my plate when my request was “medium”. We were compensated for the missteps and we appreciated that. I realize mistakes happen but for both to happen to the same guest in a dinner service makes me wonder about QC standards.

Our special "go to" restaurant for over 40 years. Never disappointed. Went this time for our 57th Anniversary. Great food, wonderful service, superb wine list (and reasonably priced!), and beautiful location overlooking valley (even in the rain!). Will continue to return.

Excellent experience from beginning to end. Seated right away. Our server explained the brunch menu with recommendations. Staff was very attentive, refilling our tea pots and making sure we were comfortable.

It's a nice space . Most often I've eaten here for brunch which is fantastic, beautiful views and a great deck. Went for dinner for the first time and found it generally bland. The atmosphere was just boring, fire was nice. Wine collection was amazing as were the bubbles the food however really wasn't anything. Flavors were just not there. Had the duck breast and it really did taste more like liver. The black cod was ok over cooked and didn't really fall apart nicely (everything else on the plate with the cod was very good) . Also had the beef prime pave and it was actually bad. Medium rare but dry and not much flavor. All in all it just wasn't worth it. I know I'm coming of a little too much like a critic, sorry! But I've had all these dishes at other restaurants and were done so much better.

Food was good however after making a reservation for a birthday over two months in advance we were seated by the entrance although they did move us to a different location in the dining room was still in the middle which made this a les than good experience.
