This was a beautiful experience. The vineyard was well maintained. Our tour guide took us on an ATV tour through the vineyards and helped to explain the operations and process from planting grapes to harvesting and creating wine. We were shown their small balsamic vinegar production room and was allowed to taste it. As for the wine tasting, the ones we had were bold, rich and full of favor. We ended buying 6 bottles which is not typical of us. Our tour guide and the owners were very friendly, professional and accommodating and that is the main reason we will be a repeat customer.
One of the best experiences in the wine country! Highly recommended!!!!!
We were greeted by Jason our lovely wine tour guide and had the most wonderful time touring the family owned winery. He educated us on the history of the establishment and almost quized us at the end 😜
What stood out to us was the balsamic tasting experience which was phenomenal.
We got to meet and hang out with Dominique the wine maker which made the whole experience 10 times better.
Thank you for the memorable visit, we left with not only a deeper appreciation for fine wine but also bottles to enjoy at home.
We look forward to returning soon!
Loved this winery tour! Sharon and Tim (owners) are hilarious, full of knowledge and made the experience incredible. Would recommend to anyone going to Napa valley, we will be back!!!
Phenomenal place! The history of the place and family was fascinating, and we got to tour the property on an ATV with the winemakers daughter, Madeline. After the tour, Timm (the winemaker) and Madeline sat with down with us while we tasted their offerings. We chatted for a good hour about life, wine, and travel. They have a fantastic Riesling, plus a hard apple cider (better than any I’ve ever had) and balsamic vinegar (delicious but not yet for sale). We’ll be back!
This Winery blew my mind. So Napa California makes me think of hundred dollar wine flights, weird dresses and floppy hats. Not the Terraces Winery. Totally different vibe.
First things first, we jump on an ATV and head out to the vineyard. Our girl Madeleine takes us all around. This is a family affair folks. Dad is the wine maker. We will meet him later.
We learn all the facts. They are the only cidery in Napa. We call this versatile. If you don’t like wine, problem solved. They’ll give you cider. I was sold quick quick because I bought three bottles.
We also learned that this family makes balsamic vinegar. Not the type you buy in the store. This is the 25 year commitment stuff. Their vinegar is older than some marriages. Let that sink in. They’re only in year three so this vinegar is not available to me and you yet. Stay tuned.
Finally, we hang out on the patio, tasting wine we all buy. The wine maker himself (Dad) comes out. We gossiped and shot the shit.
What a fantastic spot. They are killing it.
Good thing this was the last tasting of our trip because it was the best and could not compare to any other wineries. Madeline was excellent and so knowledgeable about the wines. The atv touring the vineyard made it such a unique experience. The intimate family feel made the whole trip! Getting to taste not only wines, but cider and balsamic was just such a stand out day. If I could give it 10 starts I would. An absolutely must if you’re visiting Napa. We will be back!
10/10 experience at this winery! Owner was so lovely and knowledgable.
Our family started our wine trip off with The Terraces being the first winery we went to. This winery was absolutely amazing. The owner was so passionate and knowledgable about wine and Jason our guide was wonderful. We had the best experience at this intimate, family owned winery. This winery was voted everyone's favorite by our group of 8!
The wine tasting was so intimate. The owner was phenomenal and gave us a private tour of her vineyard! All our other wine tastings have a lot to live up to! Great job Terraces!
Such an amazing experience. Sharon was so educational and the experience was so personal. Beautiful place

If you’re looking for a small family operated vinery and a humble and personal experience, this is the place.
A small group looking for a one off wine tasting experience in the Napa valley were not disappointed with the Terrace. If you are looking for a personal, accomodating and family centric vibe do not skip this stunning vineyard and it's wonderful hosts.
We did the Private 4WD Vineyard Tour & Tasting with Dominique as our guide, and it was a 10/10 tasting experience. An incredibly unique way to actually get out into a vineyard and learn more about the Terraces' specific way of creating delicious wines (and balsamic vinegar!)
We did three wine tours the same day. The Terraces was by far the best! Sharon and Dominic were welcoming, down to earth and informative. The wines were delicious as was the balsamic vinegar.
Everyone I know is absolutely obsessed!! Delicious wines, beautiful property, and the best owners & staff that are truly family.
