The food was pretty good, especially as left-overs. Everyone seemed to like the chips salsa. I had a steak burrito, my son had al pastor tacos, and my daughter had carne asada.

It’s Friday (2/24) dinner and it’s just my wife and my daughter. Getting here is just an easy ride down J street. Parking was easy along the neighborhood area. The restaurant is fairly small compared to the other Tres Hermanas location. We were able to get a table quickly (was around 6pm) without having to wait. Our server was great. She was polite and very hospitable. She took our order which included a combination plate (Verde Burrito with side of Enchilada) and Dinner Plate (Verde plate). The food came out fresh from the kitchen within 10-15 minutes from ordering. It was very delicious. Not overly seasoned and packed with flavors. The pork pieces were very tender. The side of rice with the beans turned out very good too. My wife enjoyed her meal as well. We did order drinks (2 margaritas) but unfortunately both were very disappointing. My wife got a Patron Margarita and I got their House 3 Hermanas Margarita. Neither of us can taste the tequila in the drink. The sweet and sour they used overwhelmed the cocktail - Not fresh at all. At about $14-$15 a drink, it was a complete dud and fell very short of expectations. We are used to quality cocktails from other well established Mexican Eateries in the Sacramento area. Our bill came to about $90 with tax and tips for two meals (wife and daughter shared a plate), two cocktails, and a soda. That’s rather high for the mixed experience. Here are the ratings: Restaurant (5/5), Service (5/5), Food (5/5), Drinks (1/5), Value to Price Ratio (2.5/5), and Overall Experience (3.5/5). We would probably order from here again but would do it “To Go” instead just for the food. We would stay away from their cocktails or just get something from tap (e.g. Beer) instead. 3 Hermanas… Good Food, Good Service, but Bad Drinks. If you find this review helpful, give the thumbs up button a tap below.

First time guest. Superb service, short wait for the food. I had the shredded beef chimichanga and it was delicious. Serving size was generous. Black beans and rice were cooked perfectly and tasted great. I almost finished my plate, just a little bit of food left. Overall a very satisfying experience. I will return with my wife and friends. Thanks a ton!

We came in last night for a to go order. Super small restaurant, it was a busy night. Servers were nice. Their salsa is amazing. We ordered 2 chicken burritos, and while the flavors were delicious, we felt the burritos were very lackluster: menu says marinated chicken wrapped with pico de Gallo & lettuce, beans and rice are on the side apparently. The chicken tasted great, but there was nowhere nearly enough fillings. There was a tiny portion of lettuce and no pico de Gallo in either burrito. These burritos would be so so so much better if you incorporated the beans and rice, used fresh lettuce, and put in sour cream and avocado, with a hefty serving of salsa or actually put in pico de Gallo. I would still eat here, but next time I'll ask them to make the burritos differently.

A wonderful neighborhood Mexican restaurant. Not exotic or specifically regional, but Tres Hermanas had the freshest vegetables (in a salad and the vegetable burrito) I have ever had in ANY U.S. Mexican restaurant. Excellent black beans too! Friendly service in a perfect location. Looking forward to more here.Parking: Plenty of parking in back on on street
Stepped in from the cold and the place was nice and toasty. Haleem was my server and he greeted me kindly. The decor was incredible, with various local artists pieces displaying on the wallls. I ordered the Chile Colorado entree and was pleased with the quality of my food. The experience culminated with the best serving of flan I have ever had. Kudos to this place and the people who work here!

Family birthday party at Tres Hermanas. Reservations for 10. Got in early & they sat us down, great table & atmosphere. Dora the owner is a hard working person & her staff is excellent! I ordered the 2 Pork Tamales plate. Yummy. Staff made us feel welcomed & yes the Margaritas ? ? were perfect. Highly recommended Mexican restaurant. Family location. Great for couples. Lots of to go orders. Friday night was busy.
