First time here and it won’t be my last! Service is amazing and food comes out super fast! I love how they give everyone a house soup without charge. I ordered the quesabirria tacos and they’re 10/10! My friend ordered torta with fries and they’re also 10/10! They’re very well priced for how much food you get (the tacos were HUGE) and their speedy service! We’ll definitely be coming back again:)

Stopped here on long road trip based off search for Mexican food and the 4+ star rating. We were happily surprised to find something better than a cafe open earlier than lunchtime. Loved it and it's now on our favorites list for the future. The three of us had posole, fish tacos, and chicken fajitas. They were all quite tasty, filling, and afordable considering the portion sizes. They also had no issues handling my gluten allergies, which is always appreciated. The atmosphere is Aztec themed, hand painted, and colorful. I thought it was very pretty and engaging. Reading the history of this family run business on their menu was pretty cool too and kept me from asking the inevitable question....why 524? Simple enough, because the origional shop front was at that adreess for years. So, thanks for an awesome meal and rest stop guys!Dietary restrictions: I'm celiac and can't have gluten. I was able to explain it well enough for them to offer me safe options. The fajitas were delicious!

First time there Friday night with another family. Will definitely go back again. The service couldn't have been better. Very attentive to our table. Each of us got a different item on the menu. My chile relleno was perfect, The house soup was delicious. Would love to just get a bowl of the soup. Maybe next time. Thank you for the authentic Mexican food.

We ordered quesabirria tacos with consomé and 524 super burrito. The super burrito came with a complementary soup. My husband loved the chunks of meat in it. My quesabirria tacos just had the right amount of meat and cheese. They also didn't fall apart after dipping in the consomé. The food was good! The only downside was that they brought us an orange salsa, which had no level of spice in it. When we asked for something spicier, they did not have anything else, which was surprising for a mexican restaurant :D
Well the service wasn't good!! Only came once and had to ask for more napkins, chips and had to flag a a waitress down for more iced tea never came to check up on us to see how the food was. Was so disappointed in the service has really gone down on top of that. My enchiladas weren't that great really disappointed they forgot the avocado that came with the plate, and my sister won't be going there anytime soon anymore we kind of cut them out. Have to look for a new restaurant now. Service wasn't all that great. I don't know why they kept skipping us and on top of that by the time we got home, my stomach started to get upset I don't know who they have cooking for them but just really disappointed used to be my favorite restaurant. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to be quite honest!!!

This time I decided to take of pic of the fajita I made. Steak fajitas $14.99. Comes with onions, peppers, tomatoes, rice & beans, guacamole, and sour cream. The homemade tortillas are the most satisfying thing ever! I'd buy like 10 of them every time I order if I could. I forgot to mention in my other reviews that if don't live in Natomas, you can have it delivered (I live downtown and rarely go to Natomas for food). I have DashPass through Doordash and it's $35 for 2 Albondigas soups with chips and rice and beans delivered.

Great authentic restaurant. Long standing restaurant in the Sacramento area and that is not by coincidence.The restaurant is clean and inviting. The staff is friendly and quick.The food is flavorful and good size servings. I was hoping for pastor but they didn't have any during my visit. The employee made sure to check before taking my order. The carne asada was a great alternative. The wet burrito has an excellent sauce.My three criteria for judging Mexican food, 1. Enchilada sauce 2. Pastor 3. Rice. This restaurant is a, will visit again.Bonus was the soup they serve everyone. Vegetable noodle soup. Great broth and flavor. Chips and salsa were good. The pico de Gallo has a nice kick to it from the jalapenos. The other salsa was the perfect spice both seasoning /flavor and heat.
