Went last night to celebrate my birthday with a friend. Started at the bar because there was a short wait for a table, but ended up staying there because it was comfortable and we enjoyed chatting with the bartender, who was amazing. Fantastic cocktails, food was tasty. Definitely will be back.
On a positive, they have 28 monkeys gin and make a spectacular dirty martini, but the food I have had there rates a 2 at best. The ahi poke nachos had prices of ahi the size of pencil erasers while they giant pile of wontons was only supersede by too many slices or raw jalapeño slices that were too much. We came to celebrate my date’s birthday but didn’t get to eat dinner. We ordered first-round drinks and a starter but Summer never came back to take our entree and second-round drink order. I had to hold my credit card up in the air just to get the check after we felt forgotten.
