Although the cashier was nice, I paid for a 16oz beer. The option to give a tip was during purchase before you get the service. I was given a 10oz glass of beer, which was cheaper on the menu. When I told the cashier it was not a 16oz beer, she said it was. When I took the beer to the bar tender, he told me a story that they can't give that type of beer in a 16oz glass. I told him I paid for a 16oz beer from the wall menu. Then it felt like he just wanted to shut me up by saying he would give me a shot glass full of beer and it will equal 16 ounces combined with the glass I was holding. I was on my lunch break and had no time to continue the conversation, so I took the shot. I felt disrespected by this bartender and don't feel he cared about customer service. I don't know how many times this business saved money by this practice by giving smaller amounts of beer, but it is misleading customers.

I was down in the alphabet streets looking for these and thems and saw 3 things worthy of noting. First and foremost was a state politician that didn't have his thumb up his asp and his nose up someone else's. Secondly a homeless encampment group BBQ with a sign that read free food - all are welcome. And thirdly ~ Bawk! by Urban Roots...I've never been, but I've heard the chicken dinner is without a doubt.. The best in Sactown! And, the rumors were right, the chicken was Amazing! 5 stars all day long. ☆☆☆☆☆

The food here is fantastic. The chicken is well seasoned, juicy, and thoughtfully made. The oysters I had were some of the best I’ve ever had. They’re so flavorful and the accompanying sauces are fantastic and pair perfectly. This is the best happy hour going.

It was our first time here. Casual place with seating inside or outside cafe style. The chicken and waffle comes with heat or sweet heat, we chose sweet heat and it was delish. Parking is on the street metered and some free parking in walking distance. They serve alcohol and have a bar. They have booths, large tables for groups and hightop tables too.
We went in they refused us service and were extremely unfriendly possibly due to race? I was so surprised we had 2 drinks at shady lady next door got recommended to this place and got refused service because apparently because my friend and I were heavily tattooed? I’m Very confused and offended they never gave a clear explanation why.

Overcooked chicken, undercooked crisscut fries, rap music so loud couldn't have a conversation on the outside patio... only redeeming item was the fried cauliflower... n that small basket was 12$. Never again. You're better off at Burgers n Brew nextdoor.
