Ordered my sandwich to go asked for my pepperchini's on the side. They brought it out diners in ,when I said I ordered it to go.Both workers gave me a snide look and then one of them put it in a bag to go with the pepperchini container on it's side. It was smashed on it's side and the liquid saturated my sandwich. The music was so loud that that's probably why he didn't hear to go. Terrible customer service.

Jesus, I’ve been doing DoorDash and Uber eats for over seven years and this beach hut deli compared to the West Sacramento is night and day. I just don’t understand how West Sacramento still can’t get it together. After all these years they can’t operate in a timely fashion. They always say it’s coming right up, but it takes 20 to 30 minutes. They’re always lying to you. And then I come to this beach deli in downtown Sacramento every time I come in here they’re on point. The workers are on point. Their orders are on point when they tell you what time they say two minutes it’s two minutes that they say five minutes is five minutes, but usually it’s ready. West sac literally in the twilight zone if you compare them to downtown Sacramento location. If you want to experience other Locations, you would think this is normal

I never loved Beach Hut Deli growing up. But I have a theory…a vegan theory….and it goes like this:
When you’re craving a particular food, even if it’s not something you traditionally love - you can say no to it once. But the craving can return, and it gets stronger each time. One of the most difficult things for me since going vegan has been the growing cravings for food whose itch can’t be scratched.
And then enters Beach Hut Deli in DOCO. I never even knew I wanted a vegan surfin bird - but I got it folks. And it’s exactly how I remember it. And my itch is SO scratched, even though I didn’t know it was there.
The owner is amazingly sweet, and I’m so proud of him for what he’s done. You just have to STAN the guy. He even invented a Beach Hut tempeh sandwich! The Oreo cheesecake will blow your mind.
Beach Hut should see what he’s doing and bring these vegan items to ALL locations. Honestly I think he should just take over the company, I’d support it.

Something for absolutely everyone!!! They have an enormous vegan menu with vegan meat and cheese substitutions. They have no-alcohol drink options. They catered an event with my work. Definitely the place to come if you have a varied group and want everyone to get what they want!!! SOOO yummy 😋!!!!!

So awesome to have a local Beach Hut Deli have Butcher’s Son’s “meats”! The is the only BHD that has them as this franchise is owned by a vegan. I had the vegan classic with pastrami and smoked Gouda and it was excellent! The vegan Oreo cheesecake was also bomb…don’t skip that!

Very cute location! I love their christmas decorations. My sandwich was delicious. The staff were friendly.
$15 for a 3inch sandwich with half the bread empty. I eat at Beach Hut but this one provides the smallest portions. Stay away from this store. Go to the one on J Street it has better staff and larger portions. Staff was sitting on the floor and couldn’t care less when I showed them the empty sandwich.

Did I mention the huge beer you can get to go with the tasty food!

Came in a regular and today is different. I order my regular beer and nicely cold. This time my beer is warm. I ask for a cold cup and was given another warm cup. Not except able at all when I paid for it. Plus tipping the same guy that serves me.
