I was apprehensive but they proved me wrong. It's hard to get lunch for precovid prices. Those days are gone. This place gives you plenty of yummy food... We had Korean chicken plus sushi roll.

I ordered a teriyaki beef bento box. Everything was fine until I tasted the beef. It tasted old and tough! It tasted horrible. I only had a few bites and I just couldn’t force myself to eat it . I took it inside and asked if I could switch it out for some chicken . I didn’t ask for my money back. I simply was just unhappy with the meat. He said because I ate some of he wasn’t going to replace it! I was stunned at the poor customer service he provided! So unhappy. Crazy thing I’ve been eating from there for years. After today’s experience I won’t ever go back, and I don’t recommend them. So unhappy.

The food here is simply delicious!!! This is the first location where I experienced Bento Box and even though I’ve been to the other locations I would recommend others to come to this one, yes the location in downtown sac is great and beautiful but the food doesn’t taste the same. They have always been so helpful here with what you order and I would come back here everyday if my diet and pocket permitted it! It doesn’t 😓. So yeah come here and eat pretty much whatever you like and odds are you will come back for more just like me.

Never again at Bento Box at Loehman’s Plaza. I asked for extra sauce for the teriyaki chicken in the combination plate. First it was annoying being charged for sauce when historically, they never give enough sauce to begin with & this time the chicken was dry. Being charged for the sauce, I complained to the manager, BRUCE who said this is how the chicken is made and went on and on and on about how it is not the staff’s fault. I finally had to stop him and reminded him that it is only about the sauce. BRUCE was defensive, obviously upset, and finally I had to repeat myself…it’s only about the sauce (I was thinking calm down). I only want more sauce for the dry chicken and why are you charging me? This nickel and diming for sauce is irritating, then when I told the manager to stop talking bc it is only about the sauce, and I really want to be left alone to eat, BRUCE threatened to 86 me. What? I will 86 myself! This manager is nuts. Second, I could not get pass the sauce & dry chicken issue to talk about the dry burnt pieces of beef that looked and tasted like left over waste. For all you folks who’s irritated about costly sauce and rude treatment, I recommend Makisu Sushi on Fair Oaks, who will give you plenty of sauce.

The teriyaki was bad tooo much sauce tasted burnt and the gentleman was rude 😤 told him and he didn't want to give us a little discount

I ordered a veggie tofu bowl that barely had any vegetables: 3 tiny slices of carrot and a little bit of broccoli. Mostly rice. Ridiculous. I won’t order again from this place

Randomly found this spot looking for Ramen and I was pleasantly surprised! The food is great, the wait isn't too long at all and you get really cool boxes you can keep for future food prep if you desire. I always try and make a stop here whenever I pass through town. My first time stepping in I was sitting waiting for my food and was approached by a man trying to sell candy and really wouldn't take no for an answer, as her started asking others the employee immediately told the man to leave without any type of altercation, so it seems they can control the inside of their place well!

Good afternoon I work in delivery, I came to pick up an order at this establishment, the seller is very rude and in a rude manner he told me and two other people working in delivery to stand in the corner and not interfere with his work, and when he makes an order he calls, with a very angry look and points his finger. Therefore, I ask the management to take action, fire this person!!! He said that his name is Rick!!! Three times I picked up an order there and three times he was rude and never smiled at him, you say thank you and have a good day, but he doesn’t answer anything, why do such people work here and ruin other people’s moods!!! I don’t even want to go there anymore!!!

Dine in service at this location isn’t ideal. You walk in and you have to order at the register before sitting down. They won’t take your order at the table. We decided on what we wanted and I went up and ordered, paid, and sat down. They brought the food out, thankfully. I ordered the lemon pepper wings and they were super salty. Thumbs down. The sushi was good, and the bento boxes were decent but they were really skimpy on their salad! I love their house salad dressing hence I love their salads, but the amount that my mom and I got was insane. See picture below for reference, it was spread out to look like a lot, but was very little. Very disappointing.

Have you ever watched something about Japanese restaurants in Japan then this is what you would expect. Small shop. Incredible food, service and value for the money. Very busy but served fast. Prepared with care. Huge servings. I will return.
