This place is my favorite restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this place. everytime I I need a good supper, this restaurant comes instantly to my mind. superb and many types of food and a rich cuisine.helpful staff, and pleasant ambience. In addition to that, the pay is decent. I praise this place with no doubt.

This was an important dinner with one of my favorite clients; you really made an impression on all of us; WOW!Biba is an exceptional choice for traditional Italian fine dining in Sacramento. This iconic restaurant presents very well for fine dining. The ambiance is late 20th Century elegant dining. The fixtures and furniture are clean and well kept but a bit dated, but that fits with the style of this restaurant, cuisine, and location. This is Old Sacramento and is still in business after all these years for a reason. The food was amazing. All of us were offered the Lazagna with the thin green noodles. This dish is usually only served on Thursdays and Fridays. It was so tasty, light and flavorful, all at the same time; amazing! The Gem Salad with pine nuts and pears was one of the best I have had in some time. We finished with coffee and dessert. We all shared the Tiramisu. Prepared perfectly and the espresso I had was prepared perfectly as well. Service was 5-stars also; the bussers and waiters were in sync and complimented each other and cared for our every need. Have to say one of my better dining experiences since I moved to Sacramento. Have to go 5-stars and highly recommend. Tips for a more enjoyable dinner at Biba:1. Parking can be difficult in the area so just go ahead and trust the Valet for $7.2. Guys definitely go old school and wear slacks and a jacket, you will probably be underdressed at that. Most of the older patrons were in traditional suits with ties. One tool showed up in blue jeans and a polo with his date and was seated by the door; don't be that guy.3. Listen to your waiter, they know what is best at this restaurant. take their recommendations for drinks, appetizers, and entrees; you won't be disappointed.

What a sad and disgraceful way for such an iconic and beautiful restaurant to close. A week notice was given that Biba would close forever, but the only way to order food was by calling their number. Good luck trying to order anything by phone because the line is constantly busy. If you have a gift card, you're out of luck! And forget about showing up to the restaurant because they will not take orders at the door. What a sad transformation from a classy and customer focused restaurant, personally managed by Mrs Biba herself, to a virtual soup line...

Nice place, Pasta was very well made but each flavor of sauces will be good depending on your pallet. Spaghetti wasnt for me, a bit overpowering sauce. Ravioli was very good and the ribs were very good.

Honestly, I was a difficult customer tonight. I've never been to this place and was really in the mood for something specific and they were really nice and prompt. The hostess was absolutely wonderful. I just wanted to say thanks for putting up with me, and your food is delicious!

The lasagna is my favorite. You can only get it a couple of nights a week. Every time we have been it is definitely an older crowd. The decor is very dated. Food is expensive but good.

The perfect Italian Cuisine experience. Glad the competition was too busy to seat us. Would have never found this gem. Potion sizes are small for a big eater like me but the quality was excellent. With appetizer, meal, and dessert, I was satisfied. Highly recommend.

I was disappointed. Price point did not match food quality. I have had much better Italian for much lower prices. Portions are small as well. I have never left an Italian restraunt with no left overs however bibas I did. would not go out of my way for this one.
