This location out of the 3 I've already been to outranks "San Leandro and Berkeley" which are gimmicks! Bon Chon Arden rocks because 1) the food is always freshly cooked 2) their fries are not hard but just right and that right amount of that delicious sauce on their Soy Garlic wings, and 3) Their Customer Service is always bubbly and warm... if there is a problem "they won't argue you down or hassle you; they will just fix the problem."The down side to the other Bon Chons mentioned is:1) Food is always dried out and old.2) Wings are nearly burnt and take away the soy garlic taste3) Fries are very dried out and when confronted about it "they try to bargain with you to pay for it because of inventory/ waste costs when they served you old food in the first place. When I confronted one if the waitresses specifically at the Berkeley branch (in a monotone respectful way) about the fries being dried out she said "I can charge you a lower price" and I had not tasted but 1.When I started to her that the fries and the wings does not taste like Sacramento Arden branch she stated: "we are not then plus we carry a different vendor than they do"Yet, they are carrying the name of such great franchise. When I am away from Sacramento Bon Chon and in the Bay Area and experience this type Asian snobbishness... I thank God that Arden Bon Chon is "NOT" like San Leandro nor Berkeley. Makes me wonder if the rest in the Bay area are the same. I have tried San Francisco and I hope not. Please do not go to the locations mentioned if they can't make fresh food or do fries they advertise which should be n'sync with Arden and not dry and cheap.

I want to start by saying that the staff are all very well trained and incredibly kind. My disappointment has nothing to do with the service, but the blatant drop in quality from what made Bonchon good. I used to like going to the location in Natomas. And the fact that it was more of a sit down restaurant as well. The Arden spot feels like a cheap corporate knock off. Their Chicken tasted like frozen Dennys backwater chicken, their pork buns are styrofoam cheap processed garbage. This location is a complete slap in the face especially since it’s basically the same price. You’re better off going to Wingstop for better quality food.

Bonchon chain’s fries are always good but I’m really disappointed in this location because they ruin the chain’s reputation each time I order there. Last time they gave me the re-fried chicken wings that were so dry and burnt, we couldn’t eat. Today, they put my fries in a foam container that the foam got melted by the hot fries. All the other restaurants use paper bags except this one. The manager didn’t even want to acknowledge it when I called to give them my feedback. Bad service. I hope they won’t stay in business for long.

Could had been cheaper. 40 dollars only get you 20 wings and other sides. But overall, the chicken was delicious!!

Location is in a mini mall. Plenty of parking early afternoon on a Thursday but could see it being more challenging on the weekends.Counter staff was friendly and patient. Lots of tables if you want to eat there, all clean.Picked up some chicken and japchae. Japchae was tasty but a little awkward to eat with the noodles all at the bottom (I didn't have a bigger bowl or plate to mix it). Got cole slaw as a side (instead of the radishes) which was crunchy and tasty without being too creamy.Oh my, the chicken was very good. Had the soy sauce garlic wings, which were still crunchy after a 15 minute drive and 10 minute walk. Tasty and messy, but I was willing to wash my hands several times.Definitely worth a visit! Wish they were closer to me (but probably better that they're not).

the customer service here is horrible. I arrived at 12 (wasn't busy) I didn't leave til about 12:24. it was busy now. i was on lunch break and was in a hurry, I asked for extra sauced chicken. when I asked about my order he came back with 3 that had been sitting in the back. i took a glance on my way out to make sure it was chicken and fries. as I ordered. when I got to work it was half sauced, the fries had NO seasoning I work at a school. I cannot be late, I have a class. I let the team member know, he said "didn't look check right in front of me" yeah to make sure I had chicken and fries. I was in a hurry to get back to my job as well. he couldn't do anything for me. I now have to dispute with my bank because of rude customer service.

Please check the food quality. How could this happen to one of the first order for the day? Very disappointed to receive my order like this

This was ny first exposure to Korean Fried Chicken, and I love it. My server was so attentive, and the inside of the restaurant was honestly very nice too. Half and half for the win!

Great dine-in experience. Warmly greeted for our first time trying Bonchon. We decided to try several of their fusion Korean dishes. 1. Boneless soy garlic chicken. Side of fries. 2. Spicy chicken wings, side of radish. 3. Japchae, glass noodles, mixed vegetables, and ribeye stir fry. 4. Side order of kimchiEverything was excellent. Crunchy wings, and the fries were extremely crispy and tasty. Highly recommend.

Love love love the staff , honestly the positive ratings come from their stewardship and customer service being as great as it is. The negative however comes from a few menu options not being good or having a real flavor .. I’ll be vague because I would implore anyone to try anything at least once. None the less it’s a great establishment , semi good , fast eats. Staff is awesome , clean, and warm during the cold months lol.

I've saw the mixed reviews but my experience here today was top notch. Got some soy garlic wings and Japchae to go. The person at the cash register was super friendly and she made recommendations based on the fact that my partner was a vegetarian (the japchae can be made without meat). The chicken was flavorful and still super crispy when I got home (about 30 mins later due to traffic). I had a bite of the noodles and it was very flavorful even without any meat. Safe parking lot with ample parking.

Place is waaaaack. Food is simple, boring, cheaply prepared. Prices are high. Service is weird. All orders are bagged up to go with no utensils. Gotta ask for every little thing. Waste of time and money.

The bulgoki looks like chopped meat with mushrooms? The dokboki was soggy, the dumplings are ok but the sauce is just dumped and shaken in a paper box. The food could have been presented so much better. I've been to other locations where it feels more like a homey, Korean comfort food joint but this place feels like a fast food with no care . The chicken was the only winner. It was cooked to perfection. You need to cater more to customers to enjoy eating here and train the staff to present and prepare the food to look better!Parking: Parking is across from movie theater so depends on the time you go but nice shopping area and new!
